Champions Center Video

Very cool to hear about the future plans. You look at the pricetags of these athletic centers and that is crazy...$40 million and up. Montana's locker room and weight room are on par but everything else is behind. Even the new meeting rooms are behind. The larger schools have amphitheaters with leather chairs, Montana's are plastic and still this building is amazing...

Some people are never happy. Sad, to live your life that way.

I did not say I was not happy 68 and I am very happy with my life, but nice try. The building is amazing...and yes I did donate. My point was (obviously I did not do a good job pointing that out) I am happy with the building but it is crazy what the big schools do with every aspect. Meeting rooms, players lounge, training rooms etc are out of this world due to the TV contracts and very deep pockets, Something schools in the Big Sky will never be able to compete with

Isn't that why there is an FCS?

That is one of the things they brought up in our meeting on Monday. They could have turned this into a $20,000,000 project by adding unnecessary things like hundreds of tvs, video game consoles, leather seats; but they focused more on the function for student-athletes. I love the way it looks and I think recruits are going to be very impressed.

Comparing the UM facilities to those of P-5 schools is a painful exercise. UM is not there, never will be. I just want to be proud of what UM has, not disappointed at what they don't. FWIW, I definitely am a glass-half-full person.

I agree '68. With this facility it is definitely a glass half full. They did an amazing job and it changes the athletic landscape in Missoula starting now.
