Yep. And if somewhere along the line little black jesus gets his head handed to him the kittys will be lucky to hit .500

Nice run there to get their 9th first down..
when are the kittens going to put in the 1st string vaunted defense?

the scrubs on the Dline in now for the kittens are really getting pushed down field

Wockenfuss just might be the best last name I've ever heard of.

There was a John Wockenfuss if I recall that caught for the Tigers in the late 70s....Lance Parrish emerged as the starter with Wockenfuss as the backup. He had some pop, think he hit about 15 hrs in late 70s one season.

kittens have no Oline, nothing at all in the middle

after watching the film from this game, Drake wins next week

John Wockenfuss played for several teams in the Major Leagues in the 70s and 80s. He was known for his closed batting stance. The name means walking feet or something close to that.

No smack coming from me, for all but one week of the year at least 8-)

Working in Florida for a few months and missing Bobcat football, so thought you guys could use some color on your board.

Agree, out O-line does not look good but that is why I am glad that we have this game to start the year get some reps in. McGhee is looking pretty dang good so far, and can't complain about the defense one bit. Hope y'all don't mind a Bobcat adding a couple good words to this thread

Welcome aboard, Dallas Cat! It's good to have some classy cat fans on the board who know good football! :thumb:

Our defense is looking absolutely stellar to this point for the first game of the season. McGhee is on his game and the running back committee is doing their job to this point. Just hope our O-line can figure it out by week 3 (maybe even next week)

If they do, I'm hoping they get amnesia come November :thumb:

Scared already!?

So far, had the cats been playing a competent team, they'd probably be in trouble. Good thing Chadron has literally no offense whatsoever. They're in no danger of losing, but unless they wake up in the second half, they're going to have a lot of things to work on for next week.

Nice D, though. Should be great again this year.

I'm not watching but this is pretty much the way I expected this game to go. Close for a quarter, then a blow out.

But based on what I've read here, the cats must be concerned with special teams. Bad special teams will cost you at least 2 (more likely 3) games you should win. That's the difference between playoffs and no playoffs for the cats.
