Right. Nothing to do with the crumbling academics of your university. ;) ;)

Im going to go to your scholastgic page and talk shit about how our football team whoops your ass every year...seams logical

Although I'll probably start by discussing our Rhodes scholar finalist.......yes acedemia smack talk on a football board! :thumb:
You almost spelled "academia" correctly. It is probably wise to spell correctly when you are attempting to talk smack regarding academics.

Doesn't the budget thing carry over to all parts of the university, including athletics? I thought I read somewhere that football would not be immune to the cuts.

If you're UM, the state doesn't subsidize the majority of athletics. If you're MSU, the state basically has to pay for almost all athletic operations. But  you're the "Montana school" Holy shit, you guys are precious sometimes.
That's bull and you know it. The state pays no more for MSU athletics than it does at UM.

Nope. Sorry to blow up your world like this, but you are a fan of a state-run, involuntarily funded charity. UM gets some, too. But the majority of the athletic department can run without robbing the taxpayers. Not the case with State College. Sorry, lil' bro.

I thought this was interesting, yes I know they only go to 2013, but nice charts. We spend a lot on football players.

Weird.....Raider and Hammer have been agreeing with some of my posts lately......

..you and I agree on 99.99% of things, you just didn't know it...........

;)

Greg Rachac just posted this from Gregorak: "It’s tough for me to hear that I’m unloyal or that I’m a traitor. I worked my butt off for 12 years and we won a lot of games". Agree that he worked his but off and if he wanted out, fine, but to the Cats??? There's quite an uproar over in Bozo over Prukop moving up. How would they have handled it if he came over to the Griz? At least that would have been a move up and Ty can't even say that. What a joke.

We are Montana. They aren't. Plain and simple.
The "they" is Stitt and Semore, the "we" is the Griz D. Not only do we lose Gregorak, but also Kose, Gamboa, VanAckeran, Holmes, Crittenden and Harris.

well grizgirl is absolutely wrong...Kidder had another tweet talking about how the Griz get the good Montana players, and the scats get the leftovers...

I am assuming he's taking shots at the scats and gregorak, not Stitt and Semore...

Probably just some idiot stirring the pot.

YES! Chic fight! Please use lots of oil when wrestling. For safety purposes.

How will this even work for ty?

Kane is the Asst Head Coach and Linebackers coach...I believe. ty is the DC? Who works for who? If (IF) ty had some friction with Stitt, how much friction will he have with Kane?

Not sure how this plays out for them? On second thought, not sure I care.

He gets along great with Kane, Everybody does...

Here's my other question Choate said during his presser her that he wanted to run a 3-4 defense. Does Ty even have much experience with that?

Watching the Bobs (not referring to Bob's as in Stiff - it's what I call the team from state) defense develop next year under Ty, we should be able to see if he was (is) really a good and effective defensive coordinator. Most seem to agree that he is a great linebackers coach but are split on whether or not his overall defensive schemes are good. The Peter Principle keeps coming to my mind . . . great position coach automatically translates to great D coordinator?? Maybe. Maybe not. He was only in that position for 4 years, correct? 3 under Mick Delaney and 1 under Stitt?? I loved his passion on the sidelines, loved his interviews on the radio, had fun watching him coach and pump his guys up during games. But I never once had faith that the defense coming out of the locker room after half time would make the necessary adjustments. I did with Breske.

This lateral move - and that's a generous characterization IMHO - makes no sense to me. It really doesn't. I don't care how much he likes Jeff Choate; using that friendship to find a position coaching opportunity in an FBS program seems like a much better option than running to the dark side.

Then again what do I know.

This just keeps getting better. I could not have picked a better scenario in all my dreams. It's like an early x-mas present.
Pretty much every time some BSC team tries a 3-4 it fails miserably. E.g, it seems like NAU did not start to be good until they scrapped the 3-4 several years ago.

Well, they really can't fail any more miserably than they have the past two seasons.....
