CBS Sports ranked all DI BB teams. Pretty cool read. They have UM the top BSC school at #124 (I think our RPI will be substantially better than that).

Here is what I posted about this poll in another thread on it.
CBSsports ranked every team for the 2016 basketball season. here are the big sky teams.
Mont 124
ewu 135
Nau 149
WEB ST 214
Sac 235
SUU 293
Idaho 312
PSU 318
MSU 337
ISU 344

other teams of note Kansas 3 , Gonzaga 10, BSU 31, Ndsu 132 UW 167 and tinks beavers 54
Some surprises to me like washington and weber. What say You??
Fun to look at and compare

I am a little surprised EWU is rated as high as they are in various rankings. I honestly see some fall back at EWU. They lost a lot of great talent due to graduation and defections. Granted, Jois is a great player, but can they overcome the other losses? I honestly feel the BSC will come down to Montana, NAU, and Weber State this year.

Also, why isn't Northern Colorado listed here?

I think EWU will be surprisingly good this year. Jois returns and is the preseason player of the year in the Big Sky. Bliznyuk was the conference frosh of the year last year and is primed for a big year this year. Eastern has a phenomenal shooter in Von Hofe that will start at the wing, and Sir Washington should be a dynamite PG. Add to that they brought in a grad transfer from St. Louis who should start immediately and the Eags will be a force this year in the conference.

Surprised Weber is ranked so low...I do think the Griz are the team to beat this year....

I agree with you about EWU. Jois will be a beast and the McBroom kid from St Louis will be a very good player for them. Do you think Michael Wearne will see minutes this year or red shirt?

Wearne looks like he is going to be a great shooter for Eastern but my guess is he will red shirt this year. Eastern brought in 3 freshman guards this year and have two others coming off red shirts last year. My money is on him red shirting as minutes will be scarce this year.
