Cats vs Griz

I have read a lot of posts by Griz fans on here and FB stating how the Bobcats will blow the Griz out in the Montana power classic. Just a couple of thoughts
1. Game will be in WA griz
2. MSU has not been in a tight game or been behind since week 2. They have been rolling!
How will they respond if they get behind early? How will they respond in a close game late in the fourth qtr?
We know Montana has came from behind a few times, we know Montana has won late in games.
3. Do you all really think the coaches won't have a game plan to take advantage of the strengths and weaknesses of each team? Do you think coaches will be as liberal with their subs in the Griz cat game? You think that coaches won't find a way to unleash 10,8,6,3,4,21,84,44 ,14 and 0?

One thing I guarantee is Montana will win a close game against PSU and Cats will destroy Davis!
Which will result in even more Griz fans jumping ship into panic waters.
Then the Griz will win the MPC!
Relax and enjoy the ride!!

Crap, for a second there I thought I slept in for a week and completely missed the plundering, Horned helmet wearing, barbarian explorers vs. GRIZ game…

It’s gonna be a great matchup, no doubt. I fully expect the Griz to look great and give us their best shot. I’ve learned not to expect anything when it comes to Cat-Griz. That place is a tough environment to play in, testament to the Griz fans for sure.

Look, here is the unsaid right now. Cat fans are confident. They have every reason to be based on the bubs performance over the past six games. They have been dominant. Also unsaid, their subconscious tells them they are screwed. Hauck will have the team ready, the plays will be scripted to exploit the Cats defense. (Yeah, they are good, but not unstoppable). They haven’t seen so many offensive threats as they will against the Griz. Also, bad fans who don’t know football haven’t been paying attention to the defensive front and some changes the Griz coaches have been experimenting with. The secondary should have some guys back healthy and the Cats will have to rely more on the pass. That isn’t their strength, even though their QB has a decent arm. Finally, go watch the Cal Poly game. There is something to be learned from that game. Cats did not look good. Cal Poly is awful and really, who have the Cats played? SDSU? Mercyhurst? But, but the Griz didn’t beat league opponents as badly as the Cats!! Ok, if that’s what the measuring stick is. Good luck to the cats. They will need it in Washington Grizzly. I have a feeling they are in for a long day. Especially with a coach who has the emotions of a corpse on the sidelines.

First or all, we need to take care of PSU, stay healthy, and rest a few guys. After that, when the scats come to town, if we play all four quarters, I like our chances. However, if we take a couple quarters off, like we have a few times this year, it could be a long day.

Go Griz!
