Cats vs Griz Griz seating

So, with the capacity at 20k, and the reported attendance consistently somehow being thousands more, I think the Bozeman Bobs can hit 30k for a potential Griz matchup.
Always get a kick out of this. Especially in light of your guys “record” attendance last week thanks to the Bobcats coming in town.😂

You guys have a capacity of 25,217. Somehow you had a record last Saturday of 27,340. More than 2,000 more people than capacity. Where do they all go? How can you manage this in Missoula but not in any other stadium? Of course you already know the answer but I love the grasping at straws for anything that can be “trash talk”.

For what it’s worth the Cats have a capacity of 20,767. The largest attendance we have ever announced in any game was 22,227. So close to 1500 more than capacity. But how?! Where do they all go?

My guess is the answer is the same for both schools. Though I’m sure it’s obvious that the griz first invented selling tickets beyond seating capacity and the Cats and every other university followed. So I’ll give you that.

All I take out of your post is that the Grizzlies have capacity for 5,000 more fans to attend a game. They stuff them in there somehow and then 5,000 don’t make it back from halftime tailgating.

lol "thanks to Bobcats coming in town". Don't flatter yourself. The only thing that Bobcat fans did was prevent Griz fans from buying up those last 1k tickets.

What is really confusing is the litterbox. Your university lists capacity at over 17,000 on its website ( actually 17,777 permanent seating). However, it’s listed at 20,700 with temporary bleachers and standing room only. Yet you reported and average attendance of 21,877 this year which is 21.29% over permanent capacity and 5.6% over the absolute capacity dictated by SRO and temporary seating. Do they sell tickets to the shit pond now? How is that even possible with code enforcement?

And WaGriz does bring in temporary seating as well for bigger matchups like the brawl or the NDSU game in 2023. Some of that temporary seating has stayed in the stadium to accommodate ticket demand. Our average attendance this year was 26,464 which is 4.95% over permanent capacity of 25,217. I’m not aware that we consistently sell standing room only tickets to the public.

Don’t flatter yourself and the cat faithful too much. Four of the top ten attendances all time have been the brawl as it should be, but the remaining teams filling out the opponent list of the other 6 are Idaho (twice), Ferris State, Idaho State, NDSU, UND, and Missouri State.

Nah, it was dumber than that.

Every time
I’ve went to Bozeman. They put the Griz fans in the southwest corner. Right next to the student section. It’s the dumbest possible place they could put opposing fans. Causes all sorts of fights and confrontation.
Theres 2 sections between the student section and that sw section you're referring to.
