Cats v Yale

Uffdah. What a shitty game.

MSU played awful, Yale played better and arguably looked like the better team on the field. MSU came away lucky to win. Hopefully it's a huge wakeup call for the players and coaches. There are rumors of a bunch of players being sick, but I don't really care, excuses are excuses, scoreboard is the scoreboard.
I would buy ill. Hell, I've had a case of the flu for 10 days and I haven't want to carry a cup of tea, say nothing about a football.

I'd also buy "distracted, disengaged and frustrated" by things happening internally in the program.

I get it, but I think at this point they're used to it. They know that coaches are going to move on, they know that players will move on, and Vigen has been upfront about it with the team. While I'm sure in some way or form, some feelings are hurt, they all understand it too. It's just the reality of college football. These are all highly competitive individuals that want to win a championship. They're not going to play worse because a coach or player might be leaving for a better situation.

You don't believe it would impact preparation if the players believe the staff's focus and attention is elsewhere?
