Cats v Yale

I provided my Bobcat scouting report to the Yale coaches. I provided Brint's Cat scouting report on the Cats to several of my Yale friends, as well as my scouting report. Several of my friends have skied with me at Big Sky and come to MT at other times. One of them sent me the following: "Like all cats, the bobcats have cockiness as part of their nature and one of Yale’s best hopes is to be underestimated. Still, MSU has a deep team and is battle tested against other outfits from schools where football is a religion and not a recruiting arm for Goldman Sachs.

Yale should thank you for your help!
Cheers"

This friend went to law school at Yale with Bill and Hillary Clinton. One of his professors was James Moore, who grew up in MT. Moore was the leading bankruptcy law scholar of his generation. He died in 1994.

"He was born on a farm in Condon, Ore., and attended a one-room school in rural Montana. In 1922, at age 18, he graduated from Montana State College in Bozeman with high honors, and in 1934 he graduated cum laude from the University of Chicago Law School.

After earning a doctorate at Yale Law School, he taught at Chicago for two years.

Professor Moore was the Sterling Professor Emeritus of Law at Yale University, where he taught for 37 years. He was also the author of the 34-volume "Moore's Federal Practice" (2d ed., 1948) and the three-volume "Moore's Manual: Federal Practice & Procedure" (1962)."
Your Bobcat scouting report is useless. Yale is getting boat raced with or without it. Montana State is way better than any team they have faced. Yale has some talented players but I am sensing this one is going to be a blowout.

What is the over under on the garbage time “style points” MSU is going to run up the score with? We know Vigen likes to be an ass and keep piling it on against inferior competition instead of developing his reserve players to see tough situations in games like in Missoula with coach Hauck.

The Cat backups have played plenty this season. But, based on recent events, if the Cats happen to find themselves up 35-7 at the half, I hope they don’t let their foot off the gas.

In the majority of BSC games Lamson was out of the game either before or right at the start of the 4th quarter. How many games can you say the same for Ah Yat?

I am talking about the players up front as well as linebackers more so than skill position players.

No offense to you or Brint, but if either of your scouting reports made a difference to what their coaches have prepared, then they're already in a heap load of trouble.

Kind of an unfair comparison.

Your coaches took your QB out of the game.

Our coaches called plays like ours wasn't in there.

Big difference.

I don't expect you to actually do this, but watch an actual Bobcat game. They rotate their DL and LB's frequently. The starters definitely weren't playing late into the game.

Backup offensive lineman don't come in until the starting QB comes out, which is just basic football sense.

UM rotates centers according to Bobby Hauck that is normal and not out of ordinary for other teams

I've already been told that my scouting report was very helpful. Are we going to be $100 on whether I ever said Yale would win, as you said I did? Put up or shut up.

I sent my scouting report to Yale, not Brint's. Please work on your reading ability. Since you haven't seen my report and where it came from, i.e. who I talked to, how would you know what was even in it? You are a troll and an idiot.

Backup OL for who? The Cats. That's not true with the Griz OL. They are rotated during the game and when the starter is still in the game.

I've seen teams rotate at a specific position when they're trying to figure out who the best player is, but it is incredibly uncommon to see a team rotate their entire offensive line during a game. Please watch football outside of Montana. Go rewatch some of the college games from last weekend and see how many teams rotated offensive lineman.

Did you tell them that the DT playing 1 tech was really crappy wouldn't be a factor? :)

If you are up 35 at half, then put another 28 on them in the 2nd half. The idea of not wanting to embarrass someone gets teams like YSU beat. If the other teams don't like touchdowns, play better defense or STFU

You could play better defense and not give up so much in the second half but like has already been stated their defense has been terrible all year and the offense is inconsistent. You can’t rely on inconsistent offense to carry your teams to victory.
