So you're saying an improving Eastern team, 4-3 now Big Sky, playing their arch rival, a very talented freshman QB that almost no one had seen play before, having the advantage of a bye week, and super po'd over losing their best player--Michael Wortham--to UM just had nothing to do with almost defeating a tired and beat-up GRIZ squad missing 3-4 DB's
playing their 10th consecutive game. Hmm, okay your stupid and a smug moron, and you know that

Wow, I think most of the comments on here after that game mentioned they thought the Griz did not play that well in that game. Kind of surprised you are so triggered over someone’s opinion. If you think otherwise, more power to you. Not only that but I love the mantra over here. Cats beating EWU 57-3 means nothing because they sucked at that point in the season compared to when they almost beat the gris at the mEcCa because they pulled the best freshman to ever play college football out of their hat.
Out of the other side of their mouths they say the MSU loss to the rabbits was terrible because look at them now…no accounting for the fact that they are a shell of the team that took the field week 2. Can’t make this drivel up.

No, he's saying Griz played >>>, and EWU played very well. Best said that too. Said their receivers caught the ball well for the first time all season. Said the QB played very well. He did play very well. Had any of 40 smaller plays gone in UM's favor, UM would have won big. As Hauck said, the ball didn't bounce UM's way against EWU, but it did against PSU. EWU wasn't going to score at the end of the game anyway.

I would, but I'm in AZ now. Left Monday. Saw our son in Denver. Spent a night in Santa Fe and had a great dinner. Was at the pool all afternoon today and yesterday. 85 degrees. Aqua-jogged 80 minutes both days. Will probably be watching at Duke's in Scottsdale. Gave my Canyon Club tickets away. First row on 45. Should have given them to you. We could have sold them for a bundle. Gave away our good parking pass too. 3d closest spot to the student entrance. Thanks for asking. Have fun. May the best team win (I know that's the Griz or I wouldn't have said that). Go to Brint's tailgate.

Cats lost their toughest FCS game and that team has now lost 4 in row. SDSU is down one player, and that doesn't make SDSU a "shell of a team". They are better with the QB, of course, but the fact is they were never a top FCS team.
The EWU qb was 31-41 for 299 with 2 TD's and 1 pick in the 27-7 win over UNC in their last game. 76% completion percentage.
With that QB, EWU probably would have beaten the Cats. EWU was a "shell of itself" when they played the Cats without that QB.

First, SDSU is missing more than one player. But you know that. Second, the EWU freshman QB wouldn’t have flipped a 57-3 loss into a win. But you know that as well.

It is just my opinion that the Griz did not play their best game against EWU. Yes, EWU played better than they had been playing in that game but that team is no match for the Griz when they are clicking on all cylinders playing at home.
Enjoy Arizona. This weather in the 80's has been really nice. We were thinking of going to Duke's too, but will probably just watch it at the house.
