Were you at the game? Because I was. What is your scource on the intel? Which players and when was it done? I was in the north end of the stadium until the bitter end of the afternoon and didn’t see what you said happened. The bobcats were the last team off the field and I watched as all of them and coaches slowly filed into the tunnel in small groups and none of them stopped to micturate. This sounds like you made this up, to embellish the spitting on our rug incident.(By the way it really ties our stadium together) :thumb:

I don't think I ever defended the classless fans, which both sided have. What I did say is that several players crossed the line by spitting on the logo.

A couple of cat players pissed on the end zone too.

Lets look at the logistics of what it would take to to do this act. Since when do football players wear cups? If you’ve worn a football uniform @ all you know how stretchy the pants are. Most of them wear a pair of UA style shorts underneath & the very few pads still worn are in pockets in the pants. I’m not saying they did it, but let’s not pretend it’s like accessing one of Ursa’s chastity belts to get it done, even in the cold. :lol:

I have been told that both the feces incident and the peeing are one hundred percent true and I do not have a dog in the fight on either side when it comes to the whole "classless" thing. In fact, yesterday was my 18th Cat-Griz game in person. (I know, not as many as some of you), but, I have been at those games from all angles. As a student at UM in Wash-Griz, as a UM student in the old Cat student section at Reno H Sales, as a season ticket holder in Wash-Griz, as a Griz fan at Bobcat Stadium, and as a reporter on the sidelines in both stadiums, and I have not ONCE, not one single time, in either stadium I've been in, witnessed a fan crossing the line. NOT ONCE. Every time something that gets posted on here or BN about that, it's funny how literally NO ONE ever sees it except one person who posts it anonomously, and never can back it up with any hard proof.

I'll give you an example of how I think these things get so out of hand and become message board myth. The year Jordan Tripp was injured and couldn't play in Cat-Griz in Bozeman, MSU fans claim he flipped off the crowd "all game long" while he was cloaked by a Griz flag. You can look it up, there's an actual thread devoted to it on BN. I was there for that game, on the sidelines, with Jordan for literally every single snap of that game, and I can say, that claim DID NOT HAPPEN. I know that for an absolute fact, and I would swear on my father's grave that it didn't happen. But, ONE guy, or girl, who was mad about the Cats losing that day decided to say it happened and of course, at least on BN, it spread like a brush fire, and at least in the minds of one fan base, is now the stuff of Cat-Griz legend.

Again, I'm not saying fans aren't idiots because they absolutely are. And the Griz fan who threw the poop should be arrested. I've heard it is indeed being investigated. I've seen pretty bad behavior at a Cat-Griz game, but, I have never seen, spitting, throwing fecal matter, throwing punches, cars being keyed, people getting beat over the head with beer bottles, ect.., ect..I've seen some fans swearing, yelling things they shouldn't, burning poor innocent teddy bears, but, not the stuff that gets brought up on here during this week, over and over.

In other words, while I'm not saying NOTHING ever goes down at Cat-Griz games, because from what I've heard, the two things discussed in this thread seem to have occured, but I believe those things happen way more infrequently than either fan base on this board wants to actually admit.

Wow I was in section 101, right next to you who would have figured. I can’t believe I missed that. So what were the uniform numbers of the 2 bobcat players you and your family saw because you really have a duty to report this to the athletic department so they can at least sanatize the wet spots in the north end zone near the tunnel before it freezes over. Their telephone number is 243-5348 and U of M Police is 243-6131 so you can report the crimes you witnessed.

Seems something this shocking would have been discussed yesterday. This would be the most inappropriate thing any player or players have done in this rivalry. I’m just having a hard time believing guys would just go to the bathroom in front of a stadium of people.

It had to supposedly have happened in the north end zone cause I was along the rail in the south end zone and stayed and took it all in more than 30 minutes after the game ended. This would be shocking.

...I know the visitor's tunnel is up near the NEZ, and an EWU player was caught peeing in the tunnel some years back.
