While I'm still disappointed in how things turned out for the Griz this year, I'm really happy to see 3 Big Sky teams in the top 8 seeding and 1 at large bid in the bobkitties. Griz pride side set aside I'm going to be cheering on the teams who are representing the Big Sky conference in the big dance this year, who knows maybe one of them can punch a ticket to Frisco!

+1

Big sky gets 3 of the top 6 seeds... that is some respect for the conference!

Heavy odds that one of the big sky schools is headed to Frisco with the way the bracket is setup

Agree.

To play for second place

Haha you underestimate the Big Sky...someone will give NDSU a run for their money...

Maybe next year, but they are in the tough side of the bracket. There is not one team from the other side that would make it out of the bracket NDSU is in. Don't Big Sky conference teams lose out in the first round quite often? I know very few make it farther than 2 games.

SDSU is on the same side of the bracket as NDSU and yes, Weber has the linemen to make a serious run this year. This is the first year in a half dozen years I've paid much attention to FCS football and I look forward to the tournament this year. Really partial to Brian Bohannon's teams option football though.

Incarnate Word will be a good game at MSU this weekend and I may have a 200 point mulie that needs to be harvested this year that I'll take on the way to the game. He won't score as high next year and I might leave him to die of old age...it has been nice watching him the last few years so he's almost a friend...

so according to espn website incarnate word has a game scheduled against iowa state to make up for iowa states weather suspended game against south Dakota state, if incarnate wins against msu what would the ncaa do with the game against the bison . is it up to incarnate to decide what to do, take the big money game for an up and coming athletic program or play the bison game. I am interested how this rule works, any body know?

Incarnate Word is a very good team in the tough Southland Conference. They set a bunch of offensive records this year with their QB, RB and WR breaking records this year. On defense they have a DE that broke the record for sacks. You can bet this team has a lot of speed. Will be a tough game for MSU.

I know their fans don't do the same for the Griz, but I'll be rooting for MSU.

I will not root for the Cats, but I do hope they don't embarrass themselves and the BSC against "The Word". If they manage to advance, it will be lights out at UNDSU.

No on both accounts. Incarnate word is not a good football team...and their conference was a dumpster fire this season.

At least it is not already lights out!

If they were not a good team, I don't think they would be in the playoffs!

It is a product of having to many teams in the playoffs. 24 is too many and allows bad teams into the field. No playoff should have space for 6-5 at large teams.

How could MSU not out bid Incarnate Word?

How many playoff teams have Cats beaten?

How many playoff teams did Griz beat?

Cats would get NDSU in the 2d round.

I think you have really gon off the rails.
Cats have a home game, so they did outbig UIW
Cats played 3 playoff teams
um played 1 playoff teams.
Griz Played two playoff teams - UNI a win and UC Davis a loss cats have zero wins over playoff teams

2506 is an idiot. First, the question was how many playoff teams have the Cats and Griz "beaten", not played. The Cats played 3 and lost all 3. The Griz played 3, and beat one (UNI). I guess 2506 realize that the Cats are a playoff team.

Thx for the info on the Cat game location. The bracket I saw had Incarnate Word on the bottom line, so I assumed the game was there.

Was it Pickering or Williams (both #90) who got tossed and can't play in the first half next week?
