No prob.

Looking back at the last 25 seasons we have a few more reasons cat envy is a joke.

Total wins
Montana 266
Montana State 147

Montana has had 119 more wins then MsU in the last 25 seasons

MSU isn't on our level. The Cats are a seasoned member of the mid-range wannabes that have a decent season here and there.
Montana's only competition is ASU & GSU.

you are aware that over the last 3 years (Since 2010) MSU is the winningest program in the Big Sky, that is most wins both in conference, total, and highest winning percentage.

Sorry but um is only 3rd.

You can talk about ancient history all you want but it doesn't change the facts, maybe someday your program can get back on top again, but you have a ways to go to get there.

Nothing matters prior to 1:30 P.M. November 17th. It will be decided on the field not in the history books.

I completely agree, but many of your fans like pussycatkillerz are stupidly hanging on to history like it is predetermined.

Look, I have already said that I see some valid scenarios where UM can win this year, I also see some where the Cats can win and think it is more likely. The Cats mainly have to not make mistakes, but even if they do there are ways that um can still have a shot, I just don't know if they will. Most of the unknown variables are dependent on um

Yes. As I mentioned earlier in this thread that didn't work out for Notre Dame to well. I love Griz football and the tradition and all but using this arguement just doesn't hold water. If it did than the streak over the Cats would not have ended in 2002 because those other 16 wins in a row would have beaten the Cats and Lulay all by themselves. Oh well, I think the Griz have a shot but they'll have to play a great game like last year. Hopefully, the other BSC teams do well in the playoffs. I'll probably pull for NAU truthfully because they have the Montana coaching connection.

Your mental gymnastics are admirable.

You want to forget about the past, your a cat fan I get it.
Let's start from 2010.

-Dealing with coaching changes and turmoil Montana has still had the only significant season since then.
Griz made it to the semi's and were a bad handoff away from the chipper.
All the Cats have done is get embarrased, once to the team we took to the wire, again in the first round and again to the Griz.-

-Since 2010 the cats have 27 wins to our 23-

...In that short time I'll take our respected playoff run over your anticipated complete embarrassments in the playoffs along with 4 extra insignificant wins anyday...

Comparing the cats to the Griz is rediculous....
I wonder if asu or gsu fans have to deal with shit like this from their mid echelon rivals.

Only reason I chose to respond is when a scat fan tried boasting that it was envy. Almost spit my coffee on the computer screen on that one. You are the ones looking for validation over here  , think about it. While I will admit, you are having a tremendous season this year, remember-your season is an AVERAGE one for us. Keep it up for a couple of decades, then you can start sticking your tongue out ;) . Until then, just enjoy while you can. That said, I still think you walk out of Wash-Griz with a big fat L & a huge hit to your playoff seeding. :)

and the cats still suck!
envy - why in God's name would I envy anything cats related? I'm a Griz fan through and through. I don't give a rat's ass what the cat's record is or was...or for that matter what the Griz record is or was...the cats still suck! Always have. Always will.

Some silly cat fan wrote, "you are aware that over the last 3 years (Since 2010) MSU is the winningest program in the Big Sky, that is most wins both in conference, total, and highest winning percentage."

Back at ya, you are aware that over the last 3 years (your chosen time frame) that The Griz are undefeated against that same msu team when msu is ranked higher than the Griz and higher than they should be.

It may seem that the Bobcat fans believe they should win this year, but just think how bad they will feel if they don't!

we'll cry all the way to the playoffs. at least i will...

I hope the team doesn't share that view. If they do, they deserve to be one and done. I hope they are looking at the next two games as winnable, but against tough teams who have nothing to lose and everything to gain. If the team thinks about the playoffs as a fall-back position, they don't deserve to be in them. Winners look at their opponent right in the eyes and fight them.

you'll find that more times than not the mind set of the actual team is quite different than the idiots on a message board.... :thumb:

IF (big if) that happens, then I will just drink until I no longer remember that day :thumb:

The way I see all this is at the beginning of each season the teams set goals:

1. Win the conference
2. Make it to the playoffs
3. Win the Griz/cat game
4. Win the National Championship

Its pretty likely that neither the Griz nor the cats will win the conference.
The cats will make it to the playoffs...Griz won't
I really think the Griz are gonna spank the cats
Neither will win the National Championship

All things considered I'm perfectly satisfied this year keeping The Great Divide Trophy by beating the cats and then watch the cats sputter and die in the playoffs. Given all we have been through and as young as we are all is good. :thumb:

Hold on there sparky, NAU has two tough games ahead, if they drop one and the Cats win out, (both very likely) then the Cats get a share of the ring
