I was in the SW end zone area for that game. I remember coming back after the half with my father in law and watching MM80 take it to the house on the kickoff, and score like three more including “the catch.” Marc took over that game and may have been drafted based on that comeback performance.

It was truly amazing to see live and in person.

Jeff fisher was a genius that year. (His rookie KR made the pro bowl)

sambrono made the catch for the win on offense and fisher made the stop to win on defense on the next series.

Funny how things work out. The SHSU quarterback is hitting over 70% of his passes and gone for over 200 yards. (One TD, two picks.) All that has produced 12 points ... at least partly because they have no running game (65 yards so far).
