Cats - Sac State

I wouldn't write the Cats off just yet, they actually outgained Sac St yesterday but bad decisions, both coaching and QB, helped take them down. They're still in the hunt until they get to the final two games, then we'll see what happens.

A good portion of their yardage came in Q4 against a prevent when they were down 20. At no time did they look the equal of SacSt. Now back to the creampuff schedule, which is the only reason they can't be written off.

This. They had a big portion of their passing yards and total yards in that 4th quarter.

Actually MSU outgained them in both the first and second quarters, it was the third where SS buried them on the scoreboard and in yardage with a 178-3 advantage. I think this game could have been a lot more competitive if Choach wouldn't have run that stupid, stupid, stupid 4th down play in their own territory to start the game and pinned SS deep, but that's why he gets contract extensions I guess.

In the end they got exposed for their weaknesses, glad they lost but with their schedule they could still hang around and be a factor in this thing, I don't want people falling asleep on them thinking they're dead...yet.
