You people better get some kids on campus. The fall of enrollment is going to kill ya. The Washington's won't pay for everything.

You people better hope oil rebounds and engineers continue to enroll. The U of M's enrollment won't drastically improve anytime soon. Unfortunately, MSU's (and many other institutions) enrollment will likely be stuck in reverse because of the economy, technology and the high cost of an education.

Oil rebounding would have more of an effect on the U of M since they have both a geology department and Montana Tech (where the Petroleum Engineers are) is part of the UM system, not MSU.

And oil is rebounding slowly. By summer of 2017 you will be paying $6/gallon for gas. :(

The Gazette photo of President Cruzado welcoming the new AD is in sharp contrast to the mental image of Engstrom offering a quick handshake to departing members of the UM athletic department...I may be a Griz, but what the Cats offer; an enthusiastic supportive administration,a growing fan base in the booming Gallatin, an ambitious new AD and a flock of well-heeled supporters who never blanched at going full bore in a matter of months in giving substantial financial commitment to the stadium expansion - all bode well for the state's A&M school. UM, rift with low morale and uncertainty? Not so much... First step: Come November run Bullock and his clown cadre out of business...and hope that his successor has the good sense to get the train back on the track in Missoula academically and athletically with strong hires.

Is that why they've made so many strides in expanding their stadium, adding new age technology and video boards and are about to break ground on a state of the art training facility and locker rooms???

Oh wait...thats fucking us!

Oh wait...thats f***[*] us!

Really that sentence is just an explanation of why the past regime failed. Failure to be aggressive when the opportunity is available.

Why would the cats need additional seating tho??? Honestly if they added another addition like the latest, you guys couldnt fill it. It would be even less filled when you start the annual late season collapse....does MSU really feel they could fill another expansion???

Now upgrading the east grandstands I would understand....those piss stains are tought to look at.

They would fill an addition easily. Have you been to Bozeman recently? There is a demand for season tickets.
There is a lot of excitement here and enrollment continues to increase. The new coaching staff is aggressively getting all over the State with good results.

Vim, you're a great Cat poster. But in all honesty, what opportunities? You can't even seem to get your bleachers painted.

I was in Bozeman recently. One could tell from walking the streets that the fans would easily fill an expansion like the one in the SE end zone.

I've read that they own it.

For sure. I've actually heard they plan to beat the sky. Nobody has told Choach Chatch that space is endless, but according to him, the players he has coming in are best in it. So, who knows?

All you griz fans are going to eat my hat when things start to #BOOM in Bozeman. This is our year, and this is our conference.

Offseason results.....well i guess if State Ag didn't see results in the offseason they wouldn't see many results at all.

Didn't the pre season champs only average like 15k per home game last season? They can't even fill their current stadium.

Not really sure. But I know they only averaged about 900 for the 4th quarter of their final home game.

You grossly underestimate (and envy) the revenue UM football generates.

Ha.... yeah it's envy. Dennis and my dad were friends. Dennis worked for my dad running a dozer when my dad was V.P of Holland Construction. You guys would still be playing at your old shit hole if it wasn't for Dennis.
