Cats Lose

The Cats lost to Illinois-Chicago tonight, 69-64. I'll admit to knowing very little about UIC, but it certainly sounds like a game the Cats should have won, and not a great way to get the BSC RPI up there.

I havent read much about the game but I know one of the refs. When he comes back, it will be interesting to see what he has to say about the game.

Where was the game played? It seems to me that if you play anyone close on the road, nice job. However, losing at home is another story.

If the Cats don't hit threes, they won't win. They have a lot of good players, but they are all the same.

UIC is decent, they come from the Horizon League with teams like Butler and Wisconsin-Milwaukee who have made runs in the NCAA tourney before. I watched a lot of BSC basketball when I was at the U and a lot of Horizon ball when I was living in Indiana and they conferences are pretty close. Better athletes but many lack fundamentals. UIC's RPI was 152, MSU was 263.

Fairbanks, in the Top of the World tourney, so it was a neutral court.

Sounds like the cats lost by poor 3 point shooting, that's what they attempted to do, win at the 3 point arc, didn't work out though.
