Flowers is a true Soph, and is the weakest of the 2 starting DB's, but that is not because he is not good, Jones is a lockdown corner, so naturally teams would look to match their stud WR with Flowers rather than with Jones. His youth gets him in trouble once in a awhile but he certifiably has natural talent (great hips and speed). Gords and Andrews are both serviceable DB's and probably have more experience but lack the raw talent of Flowers. Mark my words, in his Jr and Sr campaign, Flowers will be MSU's lockdown corner and teams will throw away from him just as the throw away from Jones this year. Flowers will mature into a better corner than Jones is now.

Even with ALL the problems, fuck-ups, and piss poor secondary play we're a recovered onside kick and a fake punt away from being 7-3. If we DO beat the 'scats, there's gonna be a LOT of shoulda-coulda-woulda about what might have been this season.
