Cats currently have lowest SOS in the conference

I do not know Massey or Sagarin ratings. What I do know Is New Mexico is a lot better then some of us think--The Lobos just upset #18 WAZZU yesterday in Albuquerque and are now 5-6. ( Bronco Mendenhall is a great coach and his turnaround at UNM is already showing much progress in his first year !!!)

And the Shi##y Kitties didn't play nonscholarship Morehead State of the Pioneer Conference, so I think our schedules have been roughly comparable.

And as much as I hate to admit it, State has a good to great team behind a great kid Tommy Mellot, and if we lose contain on Saturday, Tommy and his RB's are going to run for 400'-500 yards against us !!!

Upsets do happen--Go GRIZ !!!

Would WSU have been ranked so high if they were still playing a PAC 12 schedule and not a mountain west schedule?

In the Sagarin, UNM and UM are ranked right next to each other (not in SOS).

Here, I'll save you a bunch of trouble in terms of looking at stats and doing a bunch of research. The Cats are a much better team than the griz. You're welcome.

Looks like every post by me in this thread was about stats and was correct. Why did any Cat even have to comment. I just posted the stats. Looks like you are another Cat troll, who doesn't understand the game.

Well the committee uses Massey which has the gris 2nd to last in conference. Also comparing within the conference is not great as Idaho and PSU played some of the hardest schedules in FCS.

I don’t care what committee uses. I use what I want. Cats are second to last in Sagarin and 4th to last in Massey. Those are the facts.

You are correct, I'll agree with that if those are the numbers. Do you agree though..... that those rankings don't mean shit in terms of how good the team is?

Meaningful in causing one to look closely at stats put up against weaker schedule. Other factors more important in evaluating quality of team. Note that playoff committee looks closely at SOS.
