Cats currently have lowest SOS in the conference

Well the committee seemed to not mind our performance. Cats at 2, gris at 10. 😂
Why wouldn’t they be. They are undefeated and at the top of the standings of one of the top 2 conferences at the subdivision. Look at the breakdown and it’s glaring that your resume doesn’t compare to anyone especially when looking at ranked wins and SOS. If you didn’t suck out that win against New Mexico where would you be?

I think they were fair ranking us at 10 given our losses and the ranked wins we have. The only head scratcher is Mercer. This will also change markedly when they add in conference titles at the end of the year and some matchups come to pass.

Man, honestly, WHY do you make EVERYTHING about the Cats being better than the Griz? I don't get it. Thread about the Cats strength of schedule, and you're responding "Well, they are ranked higher!" Honestly, man, I like you more than probably any Griz fan here, and it is really grating on the patience that people have.

SDSU has one more ranked win than us yet you aren’t bashing them

Is Davis down to a 3rd string walk on qb?
Not sure what you're talking about but if you're talking about the Idaho QB the cats faced at Idaho, he is the backup. His name is Wagner, he's arguably their best QB and certainly not a walkon. The same guy that came into the Oregon game. The same one that beat Wyoming, Abeline Christian, Albany and Cal Poly. Yea he looked like crap against the cats but maybe MSU defense had something to do with that.

I told you being ranked at number 2 was warranted for the cats, and merely pointed out that was purely by eye test because your resume hasn’t shown anything.

SDSU just played a tight game against NDSU on the road who has without a doubt the strongest resume in the nation. They also just beat a top 5 team. Their only other loss was to an FBS team. They were ranked behind you by the committee as they should be unless they end up winning the conference. Their SOS is also number 2. Their biggest knock at this point is being short an fcs win due to playing Augustana.

What’s your point?

I don't really care about this pissing match, but Wagner was hurt going into that game, which is why the Freshman Josifek started. When he also got hurt, they had no one to turn to except for the still-injured Wagner (who certainly played like he was still injured).

Actually the 3rd string Nick Josifek got the start against you guys. They went to a banged up Jack Wagner on their 5th drive of the game in the second quarter after Josifek was injured and not having any success.

Sorry but Wagner took the majority of the snaps. Is that really your argument that the cats suck? How about the griz win over NAU's 3rd QB? Does that not count? Football players get injured, how about all the injuries on the MSU team? I'm going to be interested in hearing the excuses when the cats stomp a mud hole in the griz in a few weeks. What is the excuse going to be?

what the hell happened to you? You’ve been a member of egriz for almost 20years now, and I don’t recall you being such a raging bubz troll until this year?!? Was I just not paying attention because your posts suck so bad?
Or was your streak derangement syndrome latent, and only now bubbling to the surface, or did something change recently?
Have you been lying low for two decades biding your time to reveal your true character now?
Wow. It’s an incredible case study and a direct reflection of how crazy bubtrolls really are. Serious infatuation with your big bro. Playing the long game like that takes dedication that only a bubz troll can commit

As of today (Sagarin-D1), MSU has the lowest SOS in the Big Sky, at 217. UM is 174. Mercyhurst is 209. Utah Tech is 139. 3 Ivies have better SOS, and 5 have worse (with the lowest at 246). 3 of the 7 Patriot league schools have better SOS. Cats have softer schedule than all but 1 of the Southern and United conferences. Cats have lower SOS than all but 1 of the Southland conference. Pioneer is 231 to 263, so the Cats are at least above them.

Montana State 217
Montana 174
UC Davis 187
Idaho 138
Weber State 181
Sacramento State 155
Northern Arizona 137
Eastern Washington 146
Idaho State 143
Portland State 93
Cal Poly-SLO 162
Northern Colorado 134

Hard to believe, because it really seems as if Montana's schedule is about as bad/easy as it could possibly get. Is the Big Sky declining? Seems over the last 5 years or so that the schedules have gotten exponentially easier for the Griz. The year they played Oregon I think I remember that as being the toughest schedule or one of the toughest schedules in the country.

They REALLY struggle with facts. I mean, like REALLY.

UM's schedule hasn't been easy so far. It's been a fairly good schedule. Missouri St is good. 4-0 in confernce and 6-2. Would be ranked in Stats poll if not moving to FBS. "Missouri State is ranked No. 17 in this week's AFCA FCS Coaches Poll."UND is good, is 5-3 and is ranked 15th. West Carolina is pretty good and ranked 31st. 3-1 in conference. Just dropped out of top 25 this week. Weber was ranked, but not now. NAU is 3-0 in conference and ranked 29th Missouri St (113) is ranked higher than New Mexico in the Sagarin (122). On the other hand, Idaho is way back 130 in the Sagarin.

It pisses me off that the Scats are ranked #2 with the schedule they have played. SDSU should still be ranked ahead of them.
