When did the Cats take out a full page ad telling the griz to "Suck It"

My bad. If I recall it was a local cat bar. But we are talkin about fans here. Wished the other team success over the Griz in playoffs or champ game if I recall.

Yes he did, and the next day he put a full page ad saying congrats on a great season. He also bought about 50 Villanova hats and handed them out for free during the game. I am not saying it was the classiest move ever, but it did bring him a lot of bobcat business. If you want to see that same bar, turn on the T.V. and watch the selection show on Sunday, they have an ESPN crew there.

Is that the same bar espn was ar last year after the cats got hammered by the griz? :thumb:

And we have fans here like Hammer that do the same thing. Do I agree with it all the time? No, but if one of our fans wants to root against the Cats at all times, nobody here has a problem with it. Yet when MSU fans do that, they're terrible fans? Each side has shitty fans, and each side has far more good fans. Lets not act like we're perfect over here though.

Sorry, I shouldn't have said people like you were bad fans, I know you're not bad fans, we just view things differently haha. I just wanted to point out the hypocrisy of the OP calling out Cat fans for doing that when the majority of our fans do the exact same thing.

My old boss in Helena (and a friend) is a die hard Cat fan. When the Griz are in the playoffs he is firmly in the other teams corner. When the Cats move on into the playoffs I go for whoever they are playing except a CAA team (I hate those guys worse than State). Anyway, I generally get along with the few people that are Cat fans that I call friends and we all expect a lot of smack talk amoungst ourselves.

Clever taking out "old" wbtfg. He is no longer my boss. He was my boss before I went to UM got my degree and now make $70000 a year while he languishes at Pepsi as an assistant manager making maybe half that. Have a fun game! :thumb:
