I've also watched the bobcats defense. I believe it is pretty darn good, but it was WAY BETTER versus the San Diego & Drakes of the world rather than during conference play. No I understand. Playing devils advocate more than anything. Just seems like some are really harping on the fact that the cats haven’t played anyone, while completely ignoring that the Eagles haven’t either.

If our D only looks good because of the offenses we’ve played, why can’t the same be said for the Eagles and the defenses they’ve gotten to play?

I think both units are very good for what it’s worth.

So why do we have 30 sacks in 8 games and you guys have 21? If you can get to the QB with fewer players why don't you? Is not sacking the QB but knowing you could and with less guys part of your strategy?

Sacks don’t tell the whole story, we have a better turn over margin (#1 BSC). Largely due to pressure we create with our front 4 and not needing to send the kitchen sink. Some QB’s throw it away, some take sacks, some throw picks. But yes you take the fact you have more sacks to the bank.

If I’m you guys I’m not hanging my on beating the worst UW team in recent memory. I’m worried about slugging it out with the Bottom feeders so you can finish 8-3 cuz we all know 7-4 Weber gets in over y’all.

Keith Gilbertson went 7-16 in '03-'04
Tyrone Willingham went 11-37 from '05-'08
Steve Sarkasian went 34-29 from '09-'13

Only Chris Petersen was successful in this millenium. They've been "bad" for quite a long time...but they ARE 5-3 this year, which is saying something given where they started. :lol:

We also have more picks than you, 13-11 so I guess I'm taking two facts to the banks. Turn over margin is a team stat not a defensive stat, because it's 50% based on what your offense does. The best D in the world can't stop it's own running back from fumbling.
