Cat week questions and comments for the GFP

After watching the CAT -UCD game I do feel better about playing the Cats. What are your opinions about that game making MSU, at least look, more beatable? Sammy, I watched your video about Montana running a lot of cover 3 which left wide open spots in the zone. Do you think they ran this to protect an inexperienced secondary or do you feel there is another reason?
 
Losing to the cats sucks. Who is the last person you want to see or communicate with after a loss to the cats?

Conversely, beating the cats is one of the most joyous pleasures in life. Whom do you look forward to the most in rubbing their nose in a Griz victory?
 
UCD ran on the Cats. Pretty effectively. Also, their QB did good job of moving up in the pocket and had plenty of opportunities to run for yardage. Do the Griz take a run first mentality for this game? Based on BH’s history as a coach, the answer would be yes. However, they have so many weapons with Wortham, Davis, Bohannon, Hendrix and the TE’s - could this game be different? Secondly, will Ah Yat look to be more opportunistic in this game and run upfield?

Thru the kindness of a generous friend we have tickets to the Brawl! It'll be my first Griz game after supporting them from afar since the late 90s. Flying in from South Carolina on Friday.
Chief recommendation for something to do Sunday while we're still in town?
 
What new schemes, plays, formations, etc do you think the GRIZ show us against the Cats?

I see more spread options, more 2 back sets, a lot of pass play isolation in the middle of the field.

The return of a healthy Loud!

Basketball at Dahlberg…Lamar is in town. Game starts at 1pm. That’s something to do. Hike to the “M”…kind of a rite of passage if you haven’t done it.

There’s other things to do. Those are on my list for Sunday!

Just want to give some flowers to TJ Raush. He is playing his best football right now and has improved a ton over the last year. Dude is playing out of his mind right now
 
After the debacle in Portland, how worried are you about the Griz - Cat game? *sarcasm* alert for HelenaHandBasket.
 
I'm really curious what Coach Hobbs thinks the defensive philosophy will be for this game?
Since MSU brings a balanced efficient offense with a veteran QB.
Do you forsee a more pressure style with corner/safely, twisting blitzes with man coverage which was successful against EWU and a freshman QB. Or the over/under fronts with gap sound containment zone philosophy shown earlier against ISU which was also successful?

Least favorite scat, someone you couldn't stand the way they played and were glad they were finally gone.

I would really appreciate if you guys gamed out the home games Montana would receive for both outcomes of Griz/Cat.

I appreciate the newsletter, Brint. Great to read your stuff directly.

And last, gents, your restaurant picks were sorely lacking Red Pies Over Montana, just sayin’! :-)
