Today Davis and Jones were:
Davis was 12-76, long of 33; couldn’t pick up 1 yard on the last play in OT
Jones was 9-30; he had 6 catches for 31
Two-game totals:
Davis - 17 - 92, O TD's - 5.4 per carry
Jones - 18 - 45, 2 TD's - 2.5 per carry - he's the conference pre-season offensive MVP and a first team rb
These don't seem like stats for all-world backs to me. And where is the OL on run-blocking?
Attendance was 22,117. The Cats have gotten their attendance going in recent years.
If I goofed up the stats, fix them. The Cats' website doesn't even have its two-game cumulative stats up yet.
Good thing the new Cat QB is a pretty good thrower and runner, but he needs to avoid turnovers.
The Cats probably have good potential, tho. Obviously, Oregon is very good, and SDSU is probably good or very good. Cats lost at home, though.
