Cat - Griz Week

I know I have hardly posted on this website but I'll just give my thoughts.

I HATE the Griz, never have rooted for them a day in my life. Never will. I despise everything about the football program here. However, without you guys this rivalry wouldnt be the same. For me this rivalry is really special. For some of these kids here in montana this is the game they have wanted to play in since they were young. This game can make or break your month. . . heck even your year :lol: :lol:

After all my distaste for the griz, I have nothing but respect for them as well. I am impressed with how well your team has united, and has once again, become a big sky power. This rivalry is really special, and it seems year after year something big is on the line, well that is no different this year.

With that being said I am hoping to hear some of your guys thoughts on the game? looking at the matchups I think. . . this wont be a popular thing but I think MSU has a better QB, better O-Line, better D-Backs BUT i think UM has slightly better RB, much better WR, better DL, and better LB's.

This is just my gut feeling and obviously I am biases
But I can see MSU winning this one by something like 10-14. Going with a score of 31-21

Good post. With dominance comes respect and hatred. Yr dead wrong on the QB though. JJ has that incredible nack to almost single handedly will his team to victory that I have not seen in DM. Sure hes a great athlete but JJ is a proven winner and that's what I would prefer for my feild general. I'm not sure if yr wrong in the RBs also. No disrespect to Griz RBs but u might have the edge. Kirks ability to get those short yrds in the red zone is vital and Johnson's? home run threat is a major concern for any defense.

Did you miss where they might not have Kirk and Johnson?

kirk is a great back, however, we have several good backs and counts is not that far off from being a kirk type in the near future.....our backs have loss some of their shine this year by relying on an o line that has been a work in progress....just think if they came totally prepared starting from game 1 all our backs would look as good as kirk with the holes they could have provided. this assumption is based on the preseason hype.
griz take this one as we seem to be gellin on both sides of the ball and jj is well

Sorry, I was working of my short term memory and only thinking of Canada and Nguyen. I was also not aware that Kirk and Johnson might not play. Remember though that r RB's r only as good as the line. R running game did come back against Weebs but I might give a slight nod to the bob kittens front seven over the mildcats. All that aside, we could have Mr Magoo at RB and with JJ at the helm we'ed b alright. Mt St's O is a far cry from Ewuuu and we will not b in a shoot out.
