RTD hits full stride. Griz win due to special teams, tough D and several turnovers by the Cats, plus a receiving corps that exploits a mediocre Cat secondary. Good guys 21. - Cats 10

I miss the days when griz fans would blindly and brazenly predict a blowout in this game. Now you're just like bobcat fans 15 years ago, crossing your fingers for a 4 point win...on your home turf no less. My oh my how things have changed.

Lotsa pressure for the home team to win this one, and losing the last 4 matters; don't kid yourself. Wouldn't be shocked to see the griz take an early lead, but if I was to bet on which team implodes with penalties and or turnovers, my money is on UM. Add in some poor special teams play(ironically, Hauck's calling card) and we're all down at Stocks wondering how little brother is still able to run the ball at will for the 5th straight time.

Cats 28
Griz 13

Happy cat/griz week y'all!

Griz are completely unable to run the ball so they have 35 pass attempts. Cats struggle initially to run the ball in the first half even with Ifanse. First half score Cats 10-6. Second half griz defense wears down and Cat offense runs for 150 yards. Cam hobbles around after being hit multiple times. Final score

Having a hard time understanding all the Scat fan predictions when they “themselves” don’t even know who is injured and who is playing this Saturday against the Griz. Vigen made that clear in his press conference today. The Scats could only score 20 points against Idaho last week, and the final touchdown was literally in the final minutes. Their defense was suspect at best. How in the world are all the Scat fans predicting a blowout against one of the top defenses in the country?

Imagine logging into your rivals board, clicking the board link, clicking the topic link, clicking the page number, hammering out a post, leaning back, watching, waiting to be validated.

That said, I will be refreshing this link repeatedly come Sunday when you all internet validate me for nailing this score, perfectly:

Montana - 23
msc - 14

Eh, par for the course this week. Both fanbases will scrutinize everything they can to show why they have the edge going into Saturday. Some valid, most just banter and wishful thinking.

It’s really easy actually. You are correct, we only scored 3tds on offense last week to Idaho, a pretty bad defense. How many offensive tds did the griz score against their bad defense? ;)

You pick any aspect of the game Saturday and I bet both bases can find stats to back up an argument as to why their better. What makes this week so entertaining!

The same guy said this in another thread:

I love how for some reason, our average offense will struggle against your good defense, but YOUR average offense “matches up well” with our good defense.
I love how for some reason cat fans feel compelled to run their mouth but the logic never applies to them.

Newsflash: this is a Griz site. What was so unreasonable about having—or heavens to betsy— giving an opinion by a Griz fan about The Griz on a Griz board?

Like you stated, stats seem to support his opinion. The Griz strength on D is their rush D, and guess what: kitties like to rush. Similarly, The Griz strength on O is their passing, while kitten’s front seven seems like their strength when compared to their back-end. Is it really such an unreasonable take? So unreasonable that you had to log into egriz and chastise a poster for having the audacity to state his opinion which does in fact have a basis under the stats?

THIS. Funny how there's a PLETHORA of Cat fans on here, acting like total clowns, yet when I took a quick glance over at THEIR board, I can't find any Griz fans (maybe there are some, but none that are starting and/or commenting on multiple threads and being absolute twats). Apparently Cat fans just aren't bright enough to realize how ridiculous they are. Cousin Eddie rides again. Better check the pooper.

I have a hunch that a lot of the usernames are the same person.

How are you certain it isn't gamesmanship by Vigen and the players will be healthy at game time?

Well, this is the eGriz board and not ScatNation. I didn't say anything about a blowout. I didn't list overblown stats about the offense or defense in particular. Nothing! From what I have seen I don't believe the Cats are at the top of their game. I believe some are injured and the Cats seriously struggled just last week. Not exactly headline news! I would he happy to go position by position and give my opinion on why the Scats may or may not struggle this weekend. This is just my opinion, but I am not predicting a blowout. Frankly, no Griz fan is. But I find it ridiculous all the Scat fans are on this board puffing their chests up and predicting this is going to be a bloodbath. You are the most reasonable Scat fan on here and you know this is correct. I don't appreciate anyone coming on here to attempt to "teach' us something or simply "scold' us for our opinion. Some of us actually know a little about this game as well.

I'd love to see you elaborate on this post.....describe in detail the points our special teams have "given away"....

Have you really not watched our games this year? Blocked punts, missed FGs fumbles on punt returns, this year has had some of the worst special teams I have seen in years. Turn overs and special teams win this game and something big has to change for us to win both when we haven't done it all year.

Our special teams also has 2 KR for a TD (our KR are so good, averaging 38 yards a return, that nobody will kick to them anymore), a punt blocked for a TD, a blocked FG, several long punt and kick returns, is #1 in yards/kickoff return, #4 in yards/punt return, #1 in net yards on kickoffs, #1 in net punt yardage, #1 in yards allowed/punt return (0.9 yards, btw), #5 in FG %'age, hasn't missed an XP all year, etc., etc. So, I'm still not seeing the "giving points away every game"...

Quite likely since several usernames were just created within the last few days.

Don’t know how this post got you and garrizzlies worked up. I didn’t chastise anyone or say you guys predicted blowouts. I said it’s par for the course. This is egriz so the overwhelming thoughts will be of all the advantages the griz have in this game. On bobcat nation it’s the exact same thing.

I haven’t made a prediction other than to say I expect it to be a great game. The takes over here are no different than any other message board supporting their home team. :?

Easy answer. Cat Grope Nation bans any Griz fan who tries to enter their circle jerk! Don't disrupt their narrative; they're big time now!

UM wins 72 to 46.

The game will probably be closer. But I had to pick a score. I went with the series record. I counted the five ties as MSU wins because I have heard over in Bozeman that a tie is a win.
