Griz are a better team than the Cats, especially with Brady.

Griz have everything to play for. The Cats have nothing, except beating the Griz. If Cats are down in second half, they are more likely than the Griz to fold in that situation.

I don't agree that UM "struggles" against mobile QB's, altho I agree that UM has given up too many plays to mobile QB's. I assume it will be cold, and tackles/hits on the Cat QB will hurt. I like the speed and mobility of the 4 top linebackers.

I agree with you completely. I'd like to add, Yamen Sanders is the size of a LB and covers like a CB. His presence on the defense is huge as well.

And Prukop will see Sanders hit of the EWU QB on tape this week. Talk about incentive to give a QB happy feet. I have never, ever, seen a QB hit so hard.

The Cats play better at home and want to play the spoiler, but team speed, talent, incentive, and swagger will over come that. The Griz are peaking at the right time! They're healthy, and for some reason, seem to be playing with a chip on their shoulder. That chip is the Bob-kittens, and soon they will be put into a cookie and devoured by a bear!

I posted the same thing in post game thread. That hit reminded me of the old phone company commercial, having a QB implanted into the field. I cannot remember which QB and which company it was, but that was absolutely the hardest hit I've witnessed a QB take in the pocket.

Colter Nuanez predicted that not only would Brady be back for Eastern Washington; the Griz would also win. Although he didn't see the blowout happening last weekend, he is very confident that the Griz will win easily this weekend. His score prediction is 45-21 Griz. That's good enough for me.

It doesn't mean I won't be nervous. But he is anything but a Griz homer.

The only thing the Griz D struggles with is a between the tackles running game. Cats better find one before Saturday.

UM gives up an average of 3.9 yards per carry. That's second in the conference, behind ND (3.0). Look at how large the averages are of the other teams in the conference. NDSU gives up 3.9 per carry. 3.9 would rank UM about 40th of the top 50 teams, in terms yards per game, if UM were in the top 50 in yards per game.

2. Weber State 10 384 1520 4.0 9 152.0
3. Sacramento State 10 375 1630 4.3 18 163.0

With the E. Tennessee and Ft Lewis games, the Cats racked up 128 points for/21 points against adding a lot of padding to their offensive stats. That said, who was our biggest "cupcake" game this year? Weber?
You’re going to have to explain “cupcake game” to me ... as far as the Griz are concerned. But I assume you meant that tongue-in-check.

The Griz have scored their most points against “cupcakes” North Dakota State (#1 pre-season, been in top-4 since), North Dakota (ranked for awhile anyway) and EWU (then ranked #9). Of those cupcakes, only NDSU scored a lot of points. The other two cupcakes each score 16 points. :o

The Griz actually out-gained Weber by 38 yards. Don't think that qualifies as a cupcake.

I see the griz winning this.. You guys play harder on defense.. We will get overwhelmed and will not be able to competecompete... Our team plays like a bunew of pu$$ie$

Unless Prukop can play QB and half a dozen positions on defense at the same time it won't matter.

Pruhof is over-rated and his own left tackle wants to kick his ass. This one could get historically ugly for the cats.

I’ve read this board long enough to figure out that the misspelling of names seems to be the derogatory way to put somebody else down. Is that like the 3rd grade version of bullying a kid by throwing some rolled up paper at him in the classroom to impress your friends? I don't know, seems like a weird way to put someone down.

Also seems a little silly to say the QB who leads the conference in total offense and points responsible for is "over-rated."

Does anyone have a clip of that, please.

You must be new to this rivalry.......? Trust me it goes well above what I'd call bullying... Above statement isn't even a shot over the bow... Go to Bozo this weekend, observe the hatred Scat fans have for the Griz and their fans....Immerse yourself in one of their FIzzly chants or observe the signs stating "Jizz on the Griz"...
.......disclaimer...... "we don't much care for them either"........

Like burning Teddy Bears before a game?

Chippy is ok, but personal fouls are not. Can you imagine the uproar in Griz nation right now if a play was blown dead and while Gus was just standing there, Eastern's defensive end planted him? Like it or not, that was a dumb move by Holmes.
It was loud; the whistle was not audible.

Stats are stats; can you list the quality wins he has engineered this year?
