The main names Growler1 used to be (he had a ton more but they were all banned as well):

- Wolfman
- AZGriz
- SeattleGrizFan

I wondered what became of AZGriz..that guy was a jackass, just like Growler1. Makes sense they are one and the same.

Well f#ck if I knew my username would make people think I'm growler I would change it.

You mean Growler1. Seriously, there is a different guy who is "Growler" - imagine how he feels!

yo, midnight special - re/max became re/min because for some reason i and others like the absurdity of giving aliases nicknames. it also helps us keep who's who straight over the years, since the characters on here will go and change their aliases every now and again in order to try to reinvent themselves. alas, try as they may, there is no escape, they remain their original given nickname, because that is who they are (even though it isn't), ergo azgriz is sunshine, playerrep is greenie, savage paws is sausage pause, etc etc. in the end we're all a bunch of cartoon characters on the internet, anyway, so you might as well just continue shining a little light....

Just curious about this "win now" attitude that fcs coaches have. Um, forgive me if I'm wrong but isn't that kind of the point? In the immortal words of Herm Edwards......... "You play to win the game!"

Yeah, he lies awake at night wishing he were as handsome, intelligent, and successful as the real Growler. 8-)

They would win anyway, because true frosh have no real impact on the games. But, if they couldn't con some FBS program into thinking that they were great coaches, like Bobby did, and have to spend 8 years coaching here, then they would be better off having these kids plays as 5th year seniors (like Dan Moore). Jeeez. It seems so damned simple, but I must remember that I deal with pedestrian fans.

When you are smarter than most, the jackass label flies around frequently. Just another day's work.

Is it possible to do that?

Yep - send a private message to this guy: http://www.egriz.com/grizboard/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=5225" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

(Chris - the site owner)

He can change your screen name.

You will need to change yours, when more people figure out that you are a Playa Rape wannabee.

Or calling BWahlberg re/min. Honestly what a riot, how does he come up with this stuff?

Growler1 is whats wrong with America, and what is wrong with Griz fans.

re/min - came from the poster "argh!" as I used to be re/maxgriz on here forever. G1 copied it because he lacks any sense of creativity, although I don't know if that was even meant to be an insult or anything as it has no meaning at all to me. Growler's other main attempt to insult me is to call me Brinty... so yeah... he works hard on coming up with this stuff clearly.

Should I just call you Kiper-squared? Is that creative enough for you?

Why does this growler fellow even post here? Nobody takes anything he says seriously, it's like the great-great-grampa that is so out of touch with reality, and living in the past, that he thinks that all the black guys on the team are skipping class, doing drugs, and throwing up gang signs around campus.

Oh wait, he has already said all those things.

And honestly why can't the mods just ban him? Literally every thread he posts in, he blatantly attacks other posters. Still calling playerrep playa rape, which is still hilarious, even after the 100th time.

Or calling BWahlberg re/min. Honestly what a riot, how does he come up with this stuff?

Heck yes he's good for buisness, clicking away all day. He's been banned but then he just goes and posts from the public Library which causes all kinds of troubles because I don't think anyone wants him around kids.

GFY. I have been a teacher and coach. I still have former players from the 1970's keep up with me. Jealousy will get you nowhere, dude.

So now I'm a pedestrian fan? Ya, I can live with that. Just like pretty much everyone else on this board. Oh, and that would include you to Growler. We're all pedestrian fans.

 Oh no! The all important Growler1 thinks I'm a joke.

Have YOU ever heard of an ignore button? Half of your posts are b!tching and whining about BWahlberg, you're obviously envious of the fact that people actually want to hear his thoughts, not so much with yours.

As for your bigoted posting history, it speaks for itself:

Growler1 said:
I could list 30 black players in the past 10 years who have had run-ins with law, beaten their girlfriends, brandished guns downtown, killed a person, pistol-whipped a man while robbing him, etc. etc. You can not name 10 white players during that same time frame who did similar things, even though there are 400% more white players on the roster.

Great statement for UM athletics, huh, using a kid who has flashed gang signals after big plays, curb-stomped a frat kid, was tased by Missoula police, and begged out of practice on many occasions because he was too cool for school. Oh, but he was drafted in the 3rd round, I forgot. That makes it all better! Yeah, he's a picture post card for UM athletics!

Instead of promoting great kids like Colt, Mariani, and Waldo, who worked their asses off without scholarships to compete, were stellar students and gave much back to the community.

You don't want Tru honored in any way, but any of the former white players should be idolized?

I could keep going, but I'm getting sick of looking for pieces of turd in the bottom of the porno-john that is your post history.

There is no mystery as to why BYU is always able to field a competitive team, even with few black players on their team. It is because they are playing young men who are 22-24 years of age, who are more mature mentally and physically that most of their opponents. There is no substitute for time required to grow into being a productive college football player.

In summary, coaches who care about the overall long-term health of their program, instead of their own careers, should build a program where frosh are red-shirted.

What does race have to do with anything? We have carried very few black players for 20 plus years and have been successful.

sausage can say that because he was once black. then he met alpo.

Narcissistic Personality Disorder
Category

Personality Disorders
Etiology

Like most personality disorders, there are many factors that may contribute to the development of symptoms. Because the symptoms are long lasting, the idea that symptoms begin to emerge in childhood or at least adolescence is well accepted. The negative consequences of such symptoms, however, may not show themselves until adulthood.

Symptoms

The symptoms of narcissistic personality disorder revolve around a pattern of grandiosity, need for admiration, and sense of entitlement. Often individuals feel overly important and will exaggerate achievements and will accept, and often demand, praise and admiration despite worthy achievements. They may be overwhelmed with fantasies involving unlimited success, power, love, or beauty and feel that they can only be understood by others who are, like them, superior in some aspect of life.

There is a sense of entitlement, of being more deserving than others based solely on their superiority. These symptoms, however, are a result of an underlying sense of inferiority and are often seen as overcompensation. Because of this, they are often envious and even angry of others who have more, receive more respect or attention, or otherwise steal away the spotlight.

Or is he just a King Baby?

King Babies may show these Characteristics.

•Often become angry or afraid of authority figures and will attempt to work them against each other in order to get their own way
•seek approval and frequently lose their own identities in the process
•able to make good first impression but unable to follow through
•have difficulty accepting personal criticism and become threatened and angry when criticized
•have addictive personalities and are driven to extremes
•are often immobilized by anger and frustration and are rarely satisfied
•are usually lonely even when surrounded by people
•are chronic complainers who blame others for what is wrong in their lives
•feel unappreciated and think they don't fit
•see the world as a jungle filled with selfish people who aren't there for them
•see everything as a catastrophe, a life or death satiation
•judge life in absolutes: black and white, right and wrong
•live in the past, fearful of the future
•have strong feeling of dependence and exaggerated fears of abandonment
•fear failure and rejections and don't try new things that they might not do well
•are obsessed with money and material things
•dream big plans and schemes and have little ability to make them happen
•cannot tolerate illness in themselves or others
•prefer to charm superiors and intimidate subordinates
•believe rules and laws are for others, not for themselves
•often become addicted to excitement, life in the fast lane
•hold emotional pain within and lose touch with their feelings

The inner Struggle

Understanding King baby Stevie Dill is difficult because things are never as they appear on the surface. There are two prime motivating factors: First, the scared, lonely, child who does not want to be hurt anymore and , second, the king Baby who is never satisfied.

I am quite sure that this post will enrage the flamers once again, but the Appy State game demonstrated perfectly my contention that true freshmen should not be playing.

First, Chase Nacarrato's bone-headed decision to bring the ball out from five yards deep in the end zone, with his momentum going backwards when he caught the ball, was simply the result of a kid who lacked the experience and maturity to make a good decision on that play. It could be said that his fumble was the difference in the game. It certainly changed the momentum of the game tremendously, which took us a long time to dig out from under, especially on the road. There is zero reason why Chase should be wasting his frosh year touching the ball once or twice a game. We are deep and loaded at wide receiver, and do not need him there, or as a KO man. Total waste of a year of eligibility.

Secondly, you are seeing a different Dan Moore this season than before. He is a healthy, and has learned how to hit the holes, and run over people after squaring his shoulders downfield, instead of running laterally like before. Part of it is the new offense, but part of it is his experience in running.

Just think of what we would have lost if Dan had not missed a season? He has admitted himself that missing that season was the best thing that happened, looking back in retrospect. Even though his missed season was not the result of red-shirting, the resulting 5th year, and the growth, both mental and physical which goes along with it, are evident in his performance.

Bottom line is, no kid 6-months removed from high school, playing against 21-22 year-old opponents, will be able to compete, except in very rare instances. You remember when you were a frosh in college, and when you were a senior. The difference in both physical and mental maturity is HUGE.

There is no mystery as to why BYU is always able to field a competitive team, even with few black players on their team. It is because they are playing young men who are 22-24 years of age, who are more mature mentally and physically that most of their opponents. There is no substitute for time required to grow into being a productive college football player.

De'Anthony Thomas, Marquise Lee, Robert Woods, Matt Barkley.
In summary, coaches who care about the overall long-term health of their program, instead of their own careers, should build a program where frosh are red-shirted.

bigbadbare, that may be true of growls alot. I actually get a kick out of his posts. Why? He rants, he raves and makes statements that are thought provoking and radical. He has called me names, called me out to a dual, called my wife (ex) a bad name, looks at most things from a dour side, is very caustic and I have not even touched on his bad things, no not even close.

He owes me a few beers at the MO club. Why haven't I met him and drank them? I don't think he will poison them but he mentioned he usually is packing. Now that scares me. Can you imagine getting shot because you mentioned how great the Griz are?

Why does he get in a peeing match with all the good guys posting? Who knows? He will match swear words with all that tangle with him. I never figured his psyche but my guess is he is psychologically negative and likes to intimidate.

I have tracked (stalked) him for years. Way back when he was AZ (I had a different name) I tried to volley with him but he beat me down many times. What I slowly began to understand about him is he really loves to see the Griz win. Soon after any game he begins his "tear down" .....win or lose. But for all his bluster he really likes the Griz. Included are players, cheerleaders, and Monte. (Not Obama)

He loves to be radical. When you test him he comes out biting like a rattlesnake. My advice is this: If you like playing with a rattlesnake then go ahead and tease him. Otherwise watch from afar.

Will he respond to my post? No. Why? Cause I own him! *&^%$#@ OOPs I rattled his cage.
