Does Duke have a strong freshman and sophomore team?
I know people say to never count out Coach K, but it seams that Coach Williams is in the best position. :twocents:

I'm sorry, but I have little use for Coach K (among other things, he always acts like he and Duke are superior to anyone else), whereas Dean Smith and now Roy Williams have always run class programs at Chapel Hill.

Yes the tides are turning in the ACC. North Carolina has one of if not the best incoming recruiting class next year. According to scout.com, they have the #1 point guard, shooting guard, and power forward in the nation and the #3 center in the nation coming in next year. They also have the Freshmen of the year this year in Tyler Hansbrough. I think they will be a force in the upcoming years. Duke will still be solid, but their incoming class doesn't compare to NC's.
ESPN was saying that maybe now Ohio State will get the #1 bid backer. It was fun watching this young Tarheel team grow up during the season. And the freshman class coming in next year supposedly is better than this years crop. My only gripe about the Heels, and its not the schools fault is all the kids going pro before they graduate. Too bad the NCAA couldn't make some kind of rule where they have to granduate frist. But I know that will never happen. No one would of touched them this year if all their players came back from last year.Grizbacker1 said:'68griz said:No, UConn should be #1, going away.
I meant will they get a regional #1. I don't think they should be Duke always seems to get taken care of by the committee
