Can't Keep It Classy

And now they have a BN thread that has a racist post and ableist jokes in it. Super classy

Didn’t you tweet at one of the Bobcat players after 1 too many beers? That seems to really show restraint and class. But lemme guess you deleted it so it’s okay…

Let’s harass kids on Twitter after drinking and then call out other fan bases.

I did. At the time I didn’t think to check that he was a player, as I was tweeting with a handful of fans at the time.

I deleted it. I then made a new post stating I deleted it because it was a big mistake. I didn’t want to hide that I did something stupid and wanted to make sure my error was known. It was super embarrassing and I wanted to make sure people knew that I messed up.

I then tweeted back @ the kid to admit my error and say my bad.

So many people across the nation already think we are a bunch of hicks in Montana. Please don't validate that opinion on Saturday morning. Hold off on the alcohol for a couple hours longer. The nation will be watching. Make our state proud!

Not really understanding why this was a big deal and why you would be embarrassed about it. The kid has a Twitter account and you tweeted to it. So he's a player, you're a fan. I'm not seeing the controversy unless the tweet was truly harassment but I suspect it was not.

I called msu “little bro” but that was probably the worst of it. I’ve always been of mind not to go after “the kids” on the teams and it felt like I crossed a line I set for myself. Probably wasn’t the biggest deal. By no means am I perfect with it either. This rivalry week tends to get a lot of people on edge a little

This is like telling a salmon not to spawn. A bear not to hibernate. A cat troll not to be obsessed with the Griz and spend all their time on this message board. It’s just instinctual.
