Kent.. "So, since we beat UW, it's agreed we will never play anybody again, correct? That cool with you, Bobby"?

Bobby... "Sure, whatever, doesn't matter. Now leave me alone, I have to figure out who will be our QB for only one year."

So, was the Eastern Nevada Horse Club College all booked up this year or what?

Meanwhile, looking at the Junior College school down the road...

How's the ketamine?

The Vikings have a better chance at winning the Super Bowl with a first year quarterback than the Cats have at winning the Big Sky with a first year quarterback.
I say this as a Vikings' fan since berth (the best man in my parents' wedding was former Vikings owner Wheelock Whitney's son, Ben....): This is objectively false not because of anything that has to do with Tommy Mellott, Justin Lamson or Montana State....the Vikings have no chance to win the Super Bowl with a quarterback of any sort...first year, 5th year, 10th year....because they are the Minnesota Vikings and they will never win the Super Bowl.... :(

I say this as someone who has hated the Cats since birth, they have no chance at winning the Big Sky this year with Trashcan Tommy, whoever Justin Lamson is or anyone else for the simple fact that big game Brent is never going to win in Missoula in November. Donald Trump also just peed on himself, for the third time this week!

Name dropping. I met Wheelock Whitney several times. My law firm represented him. Good guy. I talked to a friend today who played for Vikes and lost in 2 Super Bowls. Ed Marinaro. I attended 2 Suoer Bowls in Minneapolis. Vikes weren’t in game. Vikes captain and right tackle Brian O’Neill is a friend and has been to the lake house.

Small world! My mother still remains great friends with Ben Whitney. He was the US ambassador to Norway for George W. Bush. Wonderful family.

As an older than you Vikings fan from birth…my aunt managed a club they frequented in the 80s and 90s (since we are dropping connections hahaha)…I 100% agree

I taught Ben Whitney's son when I was a high school teacher/coach. Great kid, small world. Ben was the U.S Ambassador to Norway and the Whitney's are related to the Vanderbilts.

Pre-Wilfs ownership, I would agree with you. Since the Wilfs have become the owners, the Vikings have become much more competitive and respected. Now with KOC as the HC and Brian Flores as the DC, they are at an entirely different level and I predict a Super Bowl in the next 5 years. The Wilfs have put money into the organization like no other owners before them and they have a brand new practice facility that is second to none.

With KOC as the HC of the Vikes and Brian Flores as the DC, I agree with your take. Especially since KOC took perennial underachiever/failure, Sam Darnold, and turned him into a Pro Bowl quarterback and coached him to the best season he's ever had. KOC is the quarterback whisperer and, as everyone knows, the NFL revolves around the QB. Brent Vigen on the other hand, has done shit with developing QBs. That is why the Vikes have a better shot at winning the Super Bowl with a first year QB than the Cats have at winning the BSC with a first year QB.

The Vikings stadium is one of the nicest in the league as well. Winter weather and income taxes Minnesota is a pretty underrated place to live. The east side in particular is nice for being close to the St Croix and Wisconsin.

The housing prices in the Twin Cities are a lot more affordable than the other big cities with many daily flights to Missoula Seattle and Denver. When I was looking houses in Woodbury for example, which is one of the more expensive St. Paul suburbs, houses were around half what a similar house in a similar suburb would be in Denver or Seattle. If you used Cottage Grove or Oakdale instead of Woodbury the difference would be even more stark. Traffic could get backed up on 94 especially between the cities but commuting to Eagan on 494 was reliably always about 20 mins and only about 5 mins further would get you to the Mall of America and the airport.

Shhh, doncha know, we don't want Minnesota to turn into Montana with 20% to 30% increases in housing prices.
