At Arizona Haslam will be more about continuing what is already in place as far as sponsorships for revenue there is already a lot in place. Jersey patches and naming rights for the basketball and football stadiums were all done recently by DRF. Kent Haslam has a lot of connections in Arizona from his time at NAU.

He hired the winningest coaches in the history of the basketball and football programs. He done an excellent job at UM but you can’t blame him for moving on to somewhere else if they are going to pay more than 4x what UM is paying.

It would make more sense to drop football if you were going to move the other sports up and leave football in the Big Sky.

Football is the big money maker with moving up. It makes no sense to move up without football moving up because football moving up with the increased revenue is how it could make sense

Football pays all the bills now, as FCS. Not sure how the athletic department books pencil without football.
