That's interesting, because I never understood why so many fans of a three-time national champion would feel the need to post on eGriz.com. As another pointed out, you guys are so much like new money it's not even funny.
I enjoy speaking with fans of other quality programs. Why does the fact that the team I cheer for has won four consecutive national championships have anything to do with that? Because they are 4-time national champions, I should be too good to speak with fans of other programs? Is that how "old money" is supposed to act? If so, then apparently I am "new money".

That's interesting, because I never understood why so many Bizon fans completely fail to grasp the point and instead read things into a statement that weren't in the statement and then ask and answer self-fulfilling questions in an effort to save face when they were the ones acting like douchebags on another teams message board in the first place.
The reason I fail to grasp this is because my hands are greasy from all the bacon and doughnuts I consume on a daily basis. Also, I am not very smart, but 4-peat.

Thanks! You know, you don't have to add that you're not very smart when you've already said you are fat.

When was I acting like a douchebag? Yes, I did throw a little sarcasm in there with the "that's interesting" stuff in response to someone else's post that was worded in the same manner, but I don't consider that to be acting like a douchebag. If you do, then I apologize. Other than that, I don't see how you could possibly feel like I was acting like a douchebag. Feel free to point out any of my posts where I was, and I will gladly apologize.

With regards to my previous post, apparently I must have misunderstood what you were trying to say. You said you never understood why NDSU fans post on egriz. You then followed it up by saying that we act like new money. With the wording and putting those two sentences in the same paragraph, I assumed the "new money" comment had to do with NDSU fans posting on here, so I responded as such. I explained my reasoning for posting here and then asked a couple questions (which you completely avoided in your response). I didn't answer those questions myself like you implied. I said IF that is what you meant "new money" to be, then I am new money. If you would like to clarify what you meant by your statement about posting on here and "new money", I will attempt to provide a more appropriate response.

That's interesting because I never understood why someone wouldn't understand why his or her behavior seemed like a new money DB, especially when he or she only had to go back two pages to see EXACTLY what it means.
Apparently I am an idiot, because I am still failing to see in which post I was acting like a new money DB. Like I said, if you point out the posts where I was, I will gladly apologize. That isn't my intention.

I will say this once, and only once, and in LARGE CAPS so that I will not be misunderstood...I MAY BE FAT, BUT I AM SLOW.

My uncle and 1st cousins in Billings are huge Griz boosters, and I hope they can scrounge up a ticket or 2 not too much over face value. I really want to get out to Wa-Griz to see this game. I've been out to Missoula for a few MaggotFests in my younger rugby playing days, and now it's time to get there for a FB game.

That's interesting because I never understood why I make mistakes like attributing the post with the bake sale table and cafeteria to you when you weren't the one who posted it. I am the one who owes you an apology. I apologize. BisonNation is the one who acted like a DB.

Haha. It's alright. It's tough to tell us apart when we are covered with so much bacon grease and sweat.

That's what you call it, but the rest of us Bison fans call it "love juice."

Seriously though, I never understood why someone who cheers for a school that is in the FCS would belittle the FCS.

That's interesting, because I never understood why someone who cheers for a team in the FCS cannot realize that there's bigger and better things out there while still cheering for an FCS team.
That's interesting, because I never understood why someone would think that refusing to belittle the FCS means that one doesn't realize it is not the highest level of football. A person can respect FCS football while also realizing there are higher levels out there.

That's interesting, because I never understood why so many fans of a three-time national champion would feel the need to post on eGriz.com. As another pointed out, you guys are so much like new money it's not even funny.
Don't flatter yourself or your program. The only reason NDSU fans post here is because the Griz are on our schedule this fall and maybe because you are a border state.

Mmmmmm... Bacon.

You sound like a halfway decent poster so I am cool with that. If you think about it, our rabid fan bases are not that much different. We both love our teams that have a passion for FCS football. Where we differ, is that most Griz fans have been Griz fans forever. 90% of the Bison fanbase has come on within the last 2 to 3 years. And 85% of that new fanbase act like entitled ass hats who have loved Bison football for years and years when we all know it isn't true. I lived in Fargo for a while and went to Bison games a lot when they were D2 just bc I loved football. The stadium was half empty and you couldn't find bison shirts or hats unless you looked hard. I took a ton of crap when the Bison beat the Griz back then bc everyone I hung out with knew I bled Maroon. I have no problems with those similar types of Bison fans. You guys can talk all the smack you want bc your team backs it up. Where I do have a problem is when a so-called fan can't even name a player from two years ago is on our board talking smack like they've been a bison fan forever. Those guys gotta go eat more bacon wrapped donuts. If people seem rude on this board to you or other bison fans it's because 90% of your fall in that new fan category. Not your fault, it is what it is. Go Griz!

Very uneducated post here about the NDSU fan base. NDSU has been a consistent winner since the 60, and has had a great fan base thru the 70s and 80s to the present day. This notion that NDSU and its fan base is Johnny come lately is a joke. Winning in the 2010's has added to the numbers, but take that away and its still one of the best fan bases in fcs bootball. Seriously, you know not of which you speak.

Ummmmm false, I am spot on. Talk to any Bison fan who doesn't have idiotic bias and they will all admit there is a HUGE bandwagon fan base (just like bisonbones admitted). I lived in Fargo for 8 years. Went to a bunch of Bison games. The 6000 fans (on a great day) in the FargoDome would put your argument to rest. That's 1/3 of that stadium capacity and that's all they could get. Nice try though.

So it was like Missoula back in the early 90s, big deal we didnt start packing the place on a consistent basis until 95 when all our bandwagon fans and corporations jumped on!

NDSU's lowest attendance in the past 30 years was 6,621 against Northern Colorado in 2012 during our worst season in 50 years. Our average attendance in 2002 was 10,622.

Nice try attempting to define support by a single game 13 years ago.

NDSU average attendance since 2002:

2002: 10,621
2003: 11,566
2004: 13,269
2005: 14,160
2006: 16,377
2007: 18,141
2008: 18,032
2009: 16,515
2010: 15,943
2011: 18,142*
2012: 18,515*
2013: 18,622*
2014: 18,570*

*=National Championship

Attendance at NDSU has been pretty good since 2006 and forward, but it's easy to see that people jumped on the bandwagon in 2011.
