Can the Griz beat ND in a "shootout"?

The word on ND is that their "pass happy" offense is good but their defense sucks. With our "Swiss cheese" secondary and TM's challenges with the forward pass, can the Griz keep up if it turns into a "pass fest"?

YUP...they can beat any team in the Big Sky.......I actually still believe that. However, will they actually rise up and do it? I'm saying 40-60 against. But after this, the Griz finish with three bad teams in ISU, Weebs and the Cats  ...So they WILL finish the 2012 season a three-game winning streak.

1) Dennard had a much better game against SUU and I hope that continues.

2) I am more worried about TM not being able to hit receivers than I am worring about our secondary.

3) Having a shootout requires two teams...Montana, right now, can't even participate in a shootout let alone win one. I hope they come together this weekend.

We can't win w/ a 2 score lead w/ less than 5 to go so lets all hope we're up 34527952796181 after 3.

The way things have been goin', I'd still be a bit nervous...even with that score!

So why haven't you beat any of the good teams in the Big Sky yet? UNCO doesn't quite count as a "good" team.

Depends on how we control the shootout - if the Griz have to go away from the rush/spread offense then no way will they keep up. If they can answer scores by getting points of their own on the ground - definately.

Still have that tooth under your pillow, eh?

remains to be seen as they say...

Just any "No" to shootouts. I think our D will be OK in this one. If the O can be consistent and not turn the ball over we won't have to worry about no stinkin' shootout.
