So is it true if Robby gets a release from NAU he would not have to sit a year? Also, if so do you think NAU/Jerome would grant it with him going to a conference team?

Per the NCAA, and I posted it here somewhere, the school can request to have that year waived for circumstance. Not sure if your dad coaching at the school falls within the criteria.

If someone can cite an specific example of the NCAA waiving the transfer rule. I'll then believe Robbie has a chance to play at UM in 2018.
I never said it’s been successful, just that there is a process in place...

Calm down, it’s only football

I looked for it and couldn't find it, but I saw a twitter convo between Kyle Sample and Cody Brashmore (NAU beat writer) a few days back around Robby transferring. Cody said he heard on his end they would be granting the release and it's probably just paperwork to make it all official. So no issues on Jerome granting the release it sounds like. No idea of the influence that may carry for NCAA to let him play right away. Maybe those go hand in hand?

Also, isn’t there an option in place if he were to pursue a degree not offered at NAU, but offered at UM? That would make it easy. I remember Jeremiah Masoli doing that when he went from Oregon to Ole Miss...

that is for a graduating student looking to transfer to a new institution that has a graduate degree program the student wants to enroll in.

Why the fuck does this keep coming up? Who said he actually wants to follow his dad? Maybe he wants to beat his dad. None of y'all know. You make it sound like its a done deal when this nothing but a crock of horseshit.

Uh... he’s already transferred so I’d say it’s pretty much a “done deal”...?

Not sure what else you need?

Says “Griz DB” @ the top of his twitter page. He’s congratulated a couple of new teammates for their Montana commitments. But let’s not let facts get in the way.

If you're not just trolling, because of this (the header on his twitter page), among other things:

Strike 3! That's your third K for the night. We call that a golden sombrero on the diamond, and it's not a good thing.
