Can coaches really move its team and fans to become 100% vaccinated?

The hilarious part about the people against the vaccine because "they don't know what's in it" is that they are likely the same people that abuse other things in their lives (cigarettes, alcohol, soda, processed foods, etc.) that will likely have a far greater affect on them long term. The same person that screams "its muh American right" also drinks three PBR's every night after work, eats a highly processed dinner and doesn't do things like exercise. Lots of people out there crying they don't want to put that toxin in their body while also doing things daily that bad for them, arguably worse that getting a vaccine.

All this said, I really don't care what people decide to do, and think its their right to make that choice and not have it forced on them. I just think it many cases the people who whine the most about it are being a bit hypocritical about it.

True. I believe the average number of comorbidities among those who pass from COVID is around six, with obesity being the largest (no pun). Those same comorbidities are what puts many of those vaccinated in harm's way if they have a breakthrough case.

If it were only themselves affected by no vaccine I totally agree. But my grandchildren under 12 are affected and the mutation of viruses to more virulent pathogens should cement the necessity for getting vaccinated. But then- this is the age of Aquari oops selfishness.

So bobcats are out bragging about how it’s team has come together to get vaccinated at 90% rate, and we Griz don’t have a clue. I wonder if that’s how our season is going to be? Well let’s try to one up them by getting 100% griz fans and team members vaccinated. Let’s have a griz vaccination tent set up for first game with a raffle prizes for those getting vaccinated. Even better have GSA do a griz pre- function vaccination August 21 for all griz fans with raffle prizes. I wonder if we can pull it off???
Fudge that

Not to add to your stress, but the vaccinated are now spreaders. Israeli data tells us those 6-8 months out are spreading Delta when they get a breakthrough case, especially during the first 8 days. Always best to take care of yourself and not worry about others.

https://www.sciencemag.org/news/2021/08/grim-warning-israel-vaccination-blunts-does-not-defeat-delta

Israel is being closely watched now because it was one of the first countries out of the gate with vaccinations in December 2020 and quickly achieved a degree of population coverage that was the envy of other nations— for a time. The nation of 9.3 million also has a robust public health infrastructure and a population wholly enrolled in HMOs that track them closely, allowing it to produce high-quality, real-world data on how well vaccines are working.

Except it is an issue because there's still millions out there that arent vaxxed and will cause us to shut down business again, they've allowed the virus to mutate, and guess what, the new one is killing kids. kids that are too young to get the vaccine. Your mentality is the exact reason why this is kicking everyone's ass. Your "personal choice" affects everyone.
v
"His mentality"? Aren't you a special one, with a pompous cancel-culture attitude to boot. Figures, since you obviously get your "Covid intelligence" from the alphabet news media. I have a masters degree in biology, and worked for 5 years as an Eli Lilly rep calling on infectious disease and immunology specialists. But I should listen to your rantings about this virus, huh? I think I'd rather listen to virologists from Johns Hopkins, The Cleveland Clinic, and Stanford, who all disagree with the head of the CDC and Anthony Fraud-chi.

Sales rep for a pharma company eh......yeah why wouldnt I trust your judgment.

If you are vaccinated, you shouldn’t care whether someone else is. Live your life.

Except as we’re finding out, it’s not that easy, AZ. As I noted, I give a shit about dumbasses and their dumbass decisions ONLY when it affects me. And their dumbass decision to ignore science is leading to more dangerous and more transmissible variants.

Again, make whatever choice you want. Just don’t cry when the rest of say fvck off and leave you in the dust by requiring vaccines at any event or business.
