explain why it takes 5 days for watchbigsky to post a reply of a game???

#bsc.
It is on the schools to do so. Looks like Idaho State against the Griz is the only one that isn't up for that weekend. The rest were up at some point on Sunday. I believe the Lady Griz game was posted by Saturday evening.

Sad. Why the eff does this POS conference leave it up to the schools?

Wait. I know the answer to that. Because it might cost the league fat cats 30 seconds they could spend trying to...whatever it is those guys do.

Funny thing is, the replay of the first half was up on Sunday Morning. I watched it and realized it ended right before the start of the second half. I refreshed the page and, poof! The replay, first half and all, was gone. Been checking for it over and over and still have yet to see it make another appearance...

Hmmmm. Sounds to me like someone fubar'd the game file. Damn.

I emailed Blake Barington about the game not being up yet. He is the Director of Communications for MBB at the conference offices and this is the response I got back:

"If there is a streaming issue during the broadcast it messes up the upload process since it is all pushed onto our website. We do not have anyone upload each video manually. Since it’s been four days I’m assuming that is what happened. It usually takes around 24 hours for the archived videos to appear. Occasionally this will happen if a school comes across technical issues during the game."

On a side note, I got a response back from him in less than 5 minutes. That impressed me.

Interesting - I didn't realize the upload happens automatically for the school - though in this case when something gets screwed up, I would think it would have to be manually uploaded to their site - though I could be wrong.

I would think the non-existence means their file of the game got borked - hoping I'm wrong though.

Thanks for the info Deb.

Perhaps it’s my bias showing, but his response reads a little like: “Yeah it’s fucked up somehow for sure. We really don’t care how. Or why. Or really even care that it is”.
