I remember when Craig Bohl left and everyone thought NDSU was screwed? then the next year they only won because Bohl's players were still there and the next and the next.....Rumor has it they have steroids in the water in Fargo there is no other explanation for it lol. they recruit a lot of ND and MN kids. Those kids have great work ethic no doubt about it.

The gravy. Any enhancement is always found in the gravy.

I don’t recall anyone suggesting UNDSU was screwed because Bohl matriculated. His handpicked replacement just kept them doing what they were doing.

my in-laws all live back there in Fargo and Grand forks and my BIL was recruited by ended up going to und lol. My point was not really clear but yes Kleiman just kept doing what worked and it has been an incredibly good recipe for them.

& truth is they were lucky it was they simple. Someone here already noted all the continuity issues Montana had after Bobby left, Pflugrad gets fired & Delaney does what Delaney’s do & Stitt gets run off. Culture continuity is amazing helpful in keeping programs together & successful.

Pretty much any team can be beat another on "any given" day, in any given sport. But the "top" team has to play poorly (sometimes, like s**t) and the opponent has to play "out of their minds." I do not see NDSU having that happen at home. But, good as they are, I could see that happening in Frisco. No clue on who that opponent might be.

The beauty of the FCS (real) playoffs is ... you never really know who that "dark horse" team might be.

...Pflugard would had stayed in the program and would have brought continuity year after year..
recruiting gets tougher when your a constant revolving door of coaches...I'm hoping Hauck will start
to bring a stable recruiting cycles like UND..not something that happens overnight!

gonna take 7 - 8 years, minimum. but bobby'll get 'er done when he gets his guys - the type with lunch pails and motors!

Wouldn't be surprised to see the Cats beat the Bizzon. I'm sure they'll get by IWU. We forget MSU has plenty of hard-working talented MT boys that now have a lot of pride. Why do I think the Cats could beat the Bizzon? Troy Andersen. Troy has a good supporting cast this year, and the Cats feel good about themselves. Like UM, NDSU can prepare for Troy all it can, but he's an unknown, unpredictable number.

Not only can he run, but as in the second half of Griz-Cat, he has adequate passing. Ok, maybe our secondary sucked, but remember, the Bizzon are amateurs, too. If the Bizzon win it will be only after a hard-fought game. The Cats will not be blown out. Disclaimer: I am and always have been, and always will be a Griz fan.

Bizon by 3-4 touchdowns in that game.

Double that no.

If the Cats get there, and I have my doubts they can get by Word, their one dimensional game and defensive backfield will be destroyed by NDSU. Weber needs more offense to beat them. EWUs D is vastly improved and may have a chance, but their Fr QB will have to play great. Maaaaaaaybe SDSU who gave them a run at home. But.............nah. Still a double no. It's #8.

While as a Cat fan I love the optimism, I just don’t see it happening.

Assuming the Cats do win tomorrow and go up against NDSU, all I’m honestly hoping for is a competitive game.

I have no delusion that the Cats are ready to knock off the champion, they just aren’t there yet.
If they can keep it respectable, 2 TD range, I’ll be happy, with both that game and the season.
If that happens, we’d be looking at a 7-4 regular season, 3 straight against the rival, home playoff game and win, and a respectable and understandable loss against the best team in the game. I’ll take that this year.

I hope incognito world pounds the cats by 4 touchdowns. After the game, I hope their players and coaches line up in single file and take turns taking a shit In the bobcats logo’s mouth at midfield.

Other than that, I’m no longer bitter about the brawl.
