Cam and Susler Injuries Update

I suspect Sulser is having concussion protocol; looked like he got his bell rung. Don't think it's his first time, unfortunately. Getting carried off the field did not look good for CH's prognosis.

They were looking at Sulser's right knee.

He was on sideline with helmet on, that tells me it wasn't only head issue or helmet would have been off. I think knee was the main issue

Was Cam's injury an ankle, knee, or something else?
I really thought at first before he came off the filed it was like an upper torso issue the way he was laying....

Also how is O'Connell's hand doing?

It was by his ankle. He bent it weird and it got landed on.

My source says Sulser is an Achilles. If so, his football days are likely over.

how so? he is a junior and achilles can be repaired..didn't akem have an achilles injury?

It was his rt knee, same knee that he had the ACL repaired 2 years ago. Spoke to a family member of his here in Billings today. Hopefully not a tear, but a stretched sprain. Too early to tell.

I was wondering if it was the same knee. Bummer. Hopefully only a sprain and not too serious. We need him.

Go Griz!

It's been a long time since I had Anatomy and Physiology, but aren't the knee bone and the head bone a long ways apart?

He took the targeting shot to his head on a punt return a few series before the leg injury. I was surprised he returned at all after that shot. Two different plays.

mmmm...I'd forgotten about THAT one....his days may be done. For good.

Thanks, mouse, now I remember. I wasn't taking notes on the game, maybe I should. Too busy with those 12 oz. curls, which like injuries, add up.

Lex Hilliard tore his achilles in 2006 and came back in 2007 to rush for 1032 yds and 16 td's.

Sulser was on a table on the sidelines, right in front of us, with an ice pack on his knee most of the second quarter. I don't think I saw him at all the second half. I have heard (I know, rumors, rumors) that he tore up the same knee he had reconstructed two years ago.
