Brent,

You have done such a great job with the petition calling for the removal Pat Williams.

Will you please, please, please do the same thing for Royce Engstrom?

Royce's recent statement all but says he disagrees with the courts ruling and that is just offensive.

This could have been a point for Engstrom to start the heeling of UM's reputation, while still offering support to both of the students that just went through all this.

But no Engstrom says nothing about the University and chose to pick the accusers side showing zero support for JJ.

I have a bad feeling that even if JJ decides to appeal to the ACT council JJ request will be denied all because of Engstrom!!!!

Something needs to be done about the lack of institutional support Engstrom is showing.

I would guess that Mr. Paoli is still under retainer by the Johnsons and any action like this from RE would be the beginning of the civil suit many are asking about on another thread.
I am not quite sure how much longer Mr. Engstrom will be the president of UM. The ground shook a bit under his feet with the reading of the verdict yesterday.

I tend to agree. I think Engstrom's tenure at the U will be pretty limited. The facts are pretty clear that he was outraged by Pflugrad's support of JJ and on a whim, he fired two well respected people with absolutely no cause. How could we expect him to treat JJ fairly??? With that said, I think even Ol' Royce will now understand that he would have no basis to keep JJ from playing. I listened to O'day's interview following the trial. He pretty much summed up the fact the Engstrom is unfit to be president of the U.

Give me some time on this, I think there's a lot more official and more strong actions actions that are going to take place. I could be way off base but I think Jim O'Day gave hint to that in a post-trial interview yesterday.

I'm waiting to see how Royce responds to all of this now as well. The next few weeks/months should be very telling.

Keep the pressure on from all sides, not just athletics. RE is way over his head. If George Dennison was there, none of this would have happened.

The University of Montana deserves better!

Must be hard knowing you've spelled your name wrong all these years.

Paoli is even better at civil law! As a tax payer, I am very afraid for the shit storm that is about to start if Engstrom doesn't reinstate JJ!

This is it in a nut shell. Rolls Royce fu$#ed up, knows it and will keep his mouth shut to avoid making comments that can and will be used as further leverage in a law suit.

I have been told and do expect the Civil Suit against UM to include Royce the Douche Bag Engstrom his accomplices and his puppetmasters the Board of Regents.

I don't think he is over his head. I think he is just another corrupt bureaucrat with no morals willing to say and do anything to save his own skin.

I see on the BOR website there is a meeting next week in Helena. There is an agenda item for an executive session regarding litigation. Might they be preparing for the onslaught? They should be.
