He didn’t play in the spring so he will have an uphill battle to start over Eastwood.wbtfg said:I assume the brother is slated to start at RB?

Calhoun has made that move for the team. And I agree he could be a great corner.I.M.O.#90-C.C. said:Sorry- don’t know how to link on here our discussion ....but interesting that we were discussing this end of Jan/Feb coming into spring ball:

“Who realistically has the ability to switch over to CB during spring ball and be able to contribute by this fall as we obviously have an immediate need? CB takes a lot of technique/quickness and not all receivers have the ability/work ethic/physical toughness to play corner.
To me, Justin Calhoun could be an all conference corner and help the team the most at corner, but I doubt he would make that move for the team. He was an awesome high school corner against big time talent and seems to have the athletic part needed.
Who else?”

I am glad it's coming to fruition. They will still have some plays on O for him as well, he gets his cake and he gets to it too!
I think this change is best team, especially with Sulser coming in!

He is an athlete and he will most likely be our best CB by mid season. He's also a very smart player. I think with JLM and Sulser the under 6 foot WR will be pretty solid. Then with Curran, Akem, Flowers, Toure and Roberts. That WR group is nasty. Great move for the team and really for Justin too!

Not currently. Bobby tends to reward spring camp success / carry over. So right now the guys that got the carries in the spring, Eastwood, Lee, and Green are up. I'd assume that Calhoun will work his way back in though.

Psst. BW... Bobby has competitions @ each position. C’mon man, get with the programs.
