It'll be fun watching him put pressure on the QB this fall. :thumb:

This could end up being a really mean defensive front. Moving Kidder outside displays a lot of faith in Peevey, Bradley, and our DT transfers.

Lol. Your D is going to be as shitty as the offense will be. Kidder will be one of the few bright spots.

Other than being a collie abuser....you're pretty much a typical kitten idiot that thinks they got a great defense cumming in their mouths this year....

4 years in a row and you guys say the kitten "D" will be better this year....How could it be any worse than last year....Yet, it was worse each year...

IT Will be Worse once again.....cause now you have both TG and Zero talent :thumb:

Kidder was a 1st team All-Conference DT last leason. I do not see him being a 1st team All-Conference pick at DE this season. Don't get me wrong, he will be very solid at end, but don't expect production like Wags or Tyrone had in their senior seasons.

It wont surprise me if Kidder has MUCH more production than Holmes or Wags ever did in a single season.

This is an unusual opening salvo, but I agree with the rest of the post. :o

Me neither. :thumb:

Despite being a bit undersized at DT Kidder has been very productive there. Moving him outside where he is physically better suited will lead to an uptick in production for him on defensive front. I sure get a kick out of the bobkitties knocking our defense. What a joke that is. A solid defense requires quality talent and good coaching. Maybe they have quality coaching now - maybe not - but their talent level is deficient. The Griz have an abundance of talent and we will just have to wait and see about the coaching. My guess is at the end of the season the Griz will be near the top of the defensive statistics and the kitties near the bottom - just like it usually is.

The cats have decent coaching at best. Can you imagine Gregorak's defense without Holmes, Van Ack, and last year's cornerbacks? Yeah.....that's gonna be the cats next year. Won't even start on Choate.

Back to the actual topic. Kidder is built like an FBS DE. 6-5 260 according to AJ's last article. We saw his explosiveness last season at the DT position, get him outside with more real estate and he has the ability to go on the edge and he'll have the best bull rush any Montana DE has ever had. He's gonna be terrifying.

So what's with the reference by AJ to "a few others acquired on national signing day for down the road" is that a reference to recruited preps? Or is that a Sibea confirmation?

Watching him so far this spring and in the first scrimmage suggests otherwise. The guy has lost some weight and added muscle, he fits the role of a dominant DE.

I'm excited about Kidder at DE but I also think this season a lot of people are going to be really impressed by how great a pass rushing D-end Ryan Johnson has become.

Been saying this since the day Holmes graduated.
