Cal Poly ends season

Isn't it funny though, if it is -20 in November or December and it's a home playoff game, we are all atwitter about it! Especially if it's a southern team not named Coastal Carolina (although I was excited before the game!).

It's correct that practicing when it's -20 would not be easy.
Bullshit, if weather was the real answer why did haslem originally say this... Anybody who knows montana weather knows how it can be isn't really a suprise... To me he was lying to fan base and boosters to keep their hopes up that spring season might happen for the sake of money.... All a money play ... That's all.https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://gogriz.com/news/2020/11/4/football-big-sky-rolls-out-six-game-spring-schedule.aspx&ved=2ahUKEwj-meqSmezvAhXJXc0KHezsCe0QFjABegQIBBAC&usg=AOvVaw0o-yGnTFYIvxfhiEw715iC&cshid=1617800750295
What is the quote and where is the link?
You didn’t use quotation marks, and instead chose to use ellipsis, so it’s not clear what you are trying to say. And I could not find Mr. Haslem’s supposed quote in your link. Could you help me understand?

Garrizz, I don't disagree with you often, but Cowboy did say, "...to me he was lying..." His opinion. No more, no less. He does speak like a native about the Montana weather. I spent many years in Missoula, and it is not like Great Falls, Havre, Glasgow, Miles City, Billings, or Butte. Haslam has many faces.

Disagree with what? The fact that he used ellipsis instead of proper quotation marks? The rest of my post was merely questions.

In normal years we are allowed to have fans in the seats with revenue coming in. There would have been no revenue coming in with high costs for covid protocols and very poor practicing conditions every day in late January and early February. There was no way to win. Why must you keep whining about decisions already made?

Why??? To learn from past mistakes. To paraphrase Santayana, those who forget the mistakes of the past are doomed to repeat them.
Whining?

I was far from whining. I was making an observaton or stating an opinion. And since when, once a decision is made, is that the final thoughts allowed?

I don't disagree at all with the above highlighted portion of your post. I disagree with the weather portion of it. For one thing, the weather is seldom so bad for an extended period in Missoula that it would materially effect practices. It is not known as the Banana Belt for nothing. Second, this is Montana after all. Third, if this same weather situation had happened during a home playoff game, there would be exultation over over the weather, not hand wringing.
