Cal Davis-Anyone going?

Ok, who is going to the game at Davis? Recent transplant from Missoula to CA, I have never missed a season since I was a wee lad...So this year has been difficult so far. But I live here now, so..... buying tickets and taking 5 former Montanans' to the game. What section, row, etc. do I want to purchase at Aggie Stadium? I could surmise by the crappy seating chart, that I don't want to be next to the band, and the student section takes up the prime sections behind the visitor side. And of course, where are Grizzly fans tailgating and partying in downtown Davis? Thanks in advance!

Most of the visitors sit in section 109 which is next to the band as you mention. I have seen visitors all over the stadium, but just not as concentrated as in section 109. This year they are selling single day pass tailgate passes for the main tailgate area which is on the northeast side of the stadium. I do see people tailgating in lot 30 which is just across the road to the north from the stadium and a very short walk.

I thought a lot about a family weekend to Davis. It's not in the cards this time around, but I hope those who go have a good time. Skip the wineries and hit the breweries.
