By The Numbers...

A few observations:

Over the last ten years the Griz have sold 695,574 more tickets than the bobcats. If the bobcats could get every single person in the state of Wyoming to attend this weekend they still wouldn’t have us matched in attendance over the last ten years.

If the cats won every game between now and 2050, they still wouldn’t have the lead in the series.

Even if the cats won 2 out of every 3 against us moving forward indefinitely, it would take 101 years to catch us in the series. That would be the year 2118, or the 218th Brawl of the Wild.

Griz have 103 more wins as a program. The cats would have to win every game between now and 2026, and we would have to lose every game, for them to match our number of wins.

Over the last 10 years the Griz have had 9 players drafted, cats have had 1.

Over the last 30 years the cats have won the Brawl at home twice.

The last time the bobcats won a national championship the Challenger space shuttle had never exploded, the Nintendo NES hand’t been invented, Regan was in his first term, Blockbuster video and VH1 didn't exist, Back to the Future, the Goonies, and the Breakfast club had not yet been made. Donald Trump was 38.

Griz have beaten the cats by shutout victory 24 times.

Griz have 43 consensus All-Americans. cats have 23.

Since 1984, the cats have won 3 playoff games…total. Mike Kramer won 1 in his 7 seasons, Rob Ash won 2 in his 9. Comparatively, the Griz have won 3 or more playoff games in 7 different seasons, for a total of 34 playoff wins in that same time span.

And finally, we have better looking women too. Missoula has 9 Miss Montanas to Bozeman's 2.

Go GRIZ!

Great work GrizGeneral...two things that could be added is not just NFL draftees, but number of players currently in the NFL & number of total players ever to play in the NFL.
