BUTTE5518 is not 5518 the store

Dude, NO ONE posts on their rival board as much as you have on eGRIZ without having a presence on their team's board. At least man up for ONCE in your life and tell us who you are on bcn. I'm sure those who visit that site will then noddingly think, "Yeah, that stands to reason".
 
I think there is a little embedded lesson here about rushing to judgment and boycotting a local business based on what is said on damned message board. I remember when there was a battle cry on
e-griz to boycott UAS over that ignoramus song. I get why Griz fans where pissed, as was I. However, people didn't totally understand their ownership structure, and it would have hurt innocent bystanders.

I also think it's a valuable lesson that there can be real life consequences for dumb shit on the internet, and I hope this is a lesson this clown learns the hard way.

Dude, you can't do a half assed mea culpa. Firstly, you now have it set so that nobody can go back and see your past posts, so that would be impossible.

Secondly, I specifically remember a year ago when people were telling you that they would not be shopping at 5518 Designs because of your posts you were responding with comments like "as if I care about you. You and your broke friends won't hurt the bottom line." Recently, you were commenting that "business is up 104%." Yes, I understood you were being a dbag and trolling, but statements like those clearly muddied the waters. People actively TOLD YOU that you were muddying the waters and costing 5518 Designs business, and you persisted. In fact, you were flippant and rude.

Thirdly, by coopting "5518" you were clearly making an association to the store. You can say that you thought it was a cool name, and that Butte5518 is somehow different than 5518 Designs in Butte, Montana, but any reasonable consumer would associate the two. When you google "Butte 5518," the only thing that comes up is the store. You obviously patterned your name after the store. I'm not going to psychoanalyze why you did that, but you can't just pretend the connection is pure happenstance.

You can't have your cake and eat it too. You can't have a half assed mea culpa, and then start pretending that they are 2 very different names and you never gave anyone reason to believe you were associated. You did. You were doing a fine job at apologizing and should have stopped at that. Just bounce, dude. There is a page for cat fans.

5518 is the elevation of Butte .. hardly random ... And I noted above that I thought it was a cool name.... Nothing malicious at all .. you are seriously overthinking this
