Bud Light getting desperate

Cancel Culture was great when the left was doing the canceling. But, now the right is doing the canceling and the left cries 'FOUL!!!'

Bud Light will be fine. It will long survive this political hissyfit from a bunch of thin-skinned old right-wing crybabies.

And it's not about "the left." It's about the Boyz in the Red Hatz who think they Know Better Than The People."

I think you guys are missing the bigger picture, you live in a country where Bud Light was the best selling beer? C'mon!

A country where most people can't name any state or federal elected official either. Was it the BL?

That’s why it was so easy for me to leave BL. When people bring it to our house, we make them take it outside and pour it out.

Sask, to me, Canadian beer is the gold standard. If I wanted good beer, I'd jump in my Jalopy and drive to the liquor store in Lethbridge. Labatt's Velvet Cream Stout was nectar of the Gods!

It's good. But, it is not even close to any single beer from any of the over 100 breweries in Bamberg, Germany...

Serious question...Why?

I understand. I was very upset with Campbell's decision to go pull tab with its bean with bacon soup cans a couple years ago. I thought it would ruin families and I've been proven right.

Never got stationed in Germany, and the Jalopy don't tread water very well. I've never heard any returning GI bitch about their beer. :thumb:

Only passed through German airports, but even they have great beer(s). My stays (twice) were in Vienna ... and they have great beers too. Each bar/restaurant a bit different, but all good.

The US has plenty of good beers, but that sure as Hell does not include BL. Or, for my money, any Anheuser-Busch product. (Maybe they have some, but I cannot recall any.)

The Becks tour in Bremen is great. Interesting. A nice tasting room. And unlimited beer for 1 - 1.5 hours. You can pick what you want, and they keep bringing beers to your table. I did it in December with several German friends and a couple of my kids. The tasting room situation is way better than the Guinness tour in Dublin. I liked the Hofbraehaus in Munich too.

This discussion reminded me of a tasting room in Tumwater, WA. A dark beer by Olympia, damn good. Found it again in a pizza place in Western Washington, long ago. Been without ever since. Damn.
