And yes, taking a lot of pride in being better than a team that is way lower down the ladder than you is lame. It's obvious. When it favors them, GU fans compare themselves to elite teams, when it doesn't they compare themselves to low-major teams. Aren't your standards higher than "hey, at least we're better than the university of montana!!!"
Right, you don't know what it's like....hence the post that said it would be way too hard to explain to you. Der.
At least we can pick and choose who to compare ourselves with, rather than only being able to compare ourselves to the bottom dwellers.
BTW: Which elite team did we not compete with, GB1, I mean Den?
I can pick and chose who to compare to, they just wouldn't look great. Much like GU comparing itself to top 10 teams.
And NO i don't know what it's like to be considered great and have pundits lose all faith in you so, please do explain what it's like. that's why i'm asking.
Lost by four to WSU, doesn't sound like a dick in the ass. I guess you would know about that better than me though.
I was at the TN game as well....You know that was a much closer game than the score.
Like I said (for the third time now) I can't explain how it feels being in the top 15.
The Griz scored more on on WSU defense than the Zags.
GU was lucky TN didn't take advantage and pull away for a 20+ win.
I can't explain that, but you can't explain what it's like to completely flake out of the rankings either.
