Damn, kid just can’t make up his mind. I feel like all these kids committing to Sac State need to pump the brakes a little bit as I think there’s more than a 50-50 chance Marion won’t be at Sac next year.

A kid that is a family friend of ours down here in Utah a class of 2029 kid just got an offer from Sac State and I told him to pump the breaks on them a little, I got the Griz coaches looking at him too but he’s very young and has yet to play in a varsity game but if his high school career goes the way his career has so far kid will be bigger than FCS and could be a big time recruit, kid is the most dominating player I’ve seen play.

I remember a few months ago him committing to the cats meant our coaches didn’t try and the sky was falling, once again, and our recruiting process was totally broken I didn’t see him committing to the Griz. Just saying him switching to Sac still means we did not land him.
And... why would we want him??

I think that if at the time he was deciding between UM and MSU and he chose the latter, that does warrant some questions given our needs at QB.
What are our needs at qb? We wanted the Moses lake kid and not necessarily that aggressive with presley. Looks like the coaches were right

Our needs at QB are that we haven’t had a top FCS or even BSC QB for several years now. No awards. Maybe KAY is that, I don’t know. Meanwhile MSU has a multi year in-state QB that wins the top award after a legendary career. Our in-state QBs haven’t made a dent, including Huot whom people have compared Presley to in terms of potential as a prospect.
MSU has a lot of momentum in-state at the moment. Obviously that’s not the be all, end all, and I’m a big KAY fan. If he turns into a premier QB I think that’ll shut up the narrative that we can’t develop a QB. Hopefully that happens.

Kids gone from FBS championship contender to FCS championship contender to possible FCS dumpster fire. Not quite the best trajectory. If he’s this indecisive with one choice of what school to play for, how the heck will he be able to make decisions post snap on the field.

I know, it sucks. Every school has top notch QB's but the Griz. WTF. Sucks that only the Griz don't have a top tier QB every season.
ABQ didn't say that MSU didn't want him, but he is right on the commit / de-commit path. I wonder the same thing, if this kid is going to hop around in the portal a lot.
