BSC tourney, Are you ready for one more home game?

It looks like the GRIZ will get one more home game. UNC 36, MSU 23 at halftime. MSU is not only losing, but they are really struggling offensively. IF UNC wins this, here are the matchups for round 1.

UNC @ ISU, MSU @ UM.

If we beat MSU, that would mean GRIZ verses PSU in the semi final game.
I think UNC will upset ISU. UNC verses Weber State.

Weber State verses UM. I will save my pick if this happens.

Come on CATS, please let me revise this thread in about an hour. I would love to root for MSU to beat PSU.

cats are laying an egg......is there any hope if by some miracle :lol: the cats beat weber in Bozeman??

I forgot about that game. Based on the UNC/MSU game, the CATS would be lucky to even lay one egg for a basket now. They have looked pathetic against UNC. CATS look alot worse than GRIZ do in basketball now.

That is the link to what CAT fans think now. On the brightside, goes to show "It is a good day to be a GRIZ!"

But, remember, if the Griz had beaten No Colo themselves, all of this would be academic and the Griz would have a bye. Complaining about what the Cats did/didn't do means nothing at this point.

All this means is that the Griz don't have to sit around for 12 days waiting to play basketball again. Now, it will be just 9 days of sitting around waiting to play basketball again. Chance to gain some momentum. What better team to gain some momentum than the Cats.

Another chance to take a swipe at the cats? Sounds good! I wish the Griz would've taken care of business against UNC, but here we go!! Let go Griz!

Man.....I'm hoping my Viks get in gear.....but I get the feeling its all irrelevant. Weber is to tough to beat in their own gym......

the wise man is the humble man, so three good reasons for griz fans to be humble as we approach the game against the cats:
1. it's always tough to beat a team--any team--three times in one season;
2. the cats suddenly have a shot a redemption, a chance to make amends for a disappointing season in one big game against their bitter rival;
3. you never know which griz team will show up--the one that got blasted at portland state, lost a key game at home against weber and couldn't get untracked at northern colorado, or the one that beat the cats in bozeman and rebounded at home against idaho state.
no "poor putty tats" from this corner. not yet, anyway. not with this team.

Here's some ticket info:

Friday's initial message:

The ticket situation will be different than a normal conference game. The students will be given the entire east side of the lower arena and north end zone. Everyone else will have the opportunity to purchase tickets starting Monday, March 2 at 8:30 a.m. These tickets are sold on a first come first served basis – meaning, season ticket holders will not get the seats that they have now. The ticket office will be open until 4:30 p.m. There is also an opportunity to purchase tickets on line through Grix Tix. This will also open at 8:30 a.m. Monday, March 2. Ticket prices will start at $8 for general admission, $12-15 for reserved seating, and $45 for courtside seating.

An update from Monday

I should have reminded everyone that the students are still being given the east side of the arena bowl and the north end zone area. These season ticket holders will not be able to purchase their season tickets. Anyone in this area will have a first come first serve on game tickets in other areas of the arena.

I paid $1,100 for two season tickets on the eastside lower bowl and I can't get my tickets for the playoff game. I guess I just won't buy season tickets next year. This administrations inconsistant stance is idiotic at a minimum.

Me too! I'm going to cut my face off to spite my nose! I'm giving up my football tickets too! and I think I'll really get even with the UM administration and become a kitten fan! :rant:

Some of these people act like the NCAA would take a win away from us if we didn't all sit around talking sh!t BEFORE tipoff.

I remember being a student at UM in 1978. Student section was always filled up. Had to get to most games 2 or 3 hours before tip off to most games. But, when UM hosted the 1978 Big Sky Tournament, they moved the students out of the east floor level seats and put them behind the south basket and elsewhere. Boise State Bronco fans sat in the east floor level seats along with another teams fans.

Now, the students barely come out and their going to give the students the east floor level. I say the students better come out and fill up the seats their giving them or I will never support them for sitting there again.
