The officiating was definitely the best we seen all year. I did see at least 2 holds that weren't called on SDSU though. Ill take that any day over the crap we see in the regular season.

Check your rule book.I missed the second play, but the QB can be moving at the snap as long as it isn't toward the LOS and all other players are set
You must have missed some earlier games. The officiating was definitely the best we seen all year. I did see at least 2 holds that weren't called on SDSU though. Ill take that any day over the crap we see in the regular season.
Hoops, I know your asking someone else, but I am just trying to understand because I could not watch yesterday and haven't seen it. I was only able to pull up the radio feed on the internet and they said that penalty was a false start on SDSU first and then when the call was signaled on the field they said it was for the defense simulating the snap count. I had to take it at face value, knowing that those guys can be extremely biased, but I don't ever remember Montana being called for that in recent years.Explain the delay of game when DL shifted.

Don't miss any games, ever. Maybe your eyes should get checked. Aren't you like 90 years old? I'm 34 gramps. My vision is great and so is my cognition. Can't say the same for you.You must have missed some earlier games.
The delay of game on our defense was actually correct, it just hasn’t been called all year. That was a rule change this year. The late call on the delay of game by Griz DL was wrong. The main ref goofed up the call with the multi[le penalties, but they corrected it. In that call, the penalty on our defender chasing the ball was wrong; he can't stop if I player steps in front of him They talked way too long on little or dumb stuff. They missed false starts on SDSU several times, including the second play of the game. They let go some huge and clear holding calls a few times, when it was blatant and right in front of the ref.
Oh oh, I smell a rebuttal that could lead to ugliness. The delay of game on our defense was actually correct, it just hasn’t been called all year. That was a rule change this year.

Well you are still allowed to shift. You can’t simulate movement forward, but shifting is fine. You can now only use two cadences to do it. I’ll have to watch the tv replay. Hard to see in the stadium sometimesThe delay of game on our defense was actually correct, it just hasn’t been called all year. That was a rule change this year.
No, you are completely wrong, and obviously haven't talked to anyone associated with the team. Did you not see how long Bobby argued with the ref on the sidelines after that call? You must not understand the rule. Do you know where the players were when the play started, and when the play occurred. Those things are critical to the rule. I hope you have never officiated a football game, because you are clueless about the game of football. Truly clueless.Correct call. No issues with that penalty whatsoever. And rightfully so; that's a very dangerous play.
